I wanted to write this review. Most people recommend for comfort and looks. What was most important to me was sound quality and Soundstage. I was presently surprised 😮 These earpads are much more comfortable look better and I cannot discern any detrimental effects to the sound or Soundstage. I do have a really good dac/amp and a aftermarket cable which definitely improved Soundstage and bass. Great upgrade to HD 800s!

i bought this for how expensive it is thinking it would be a quality product. I wanted a earpad that i can frequently wipe clean (e.g. i do that with my sony xm3). however, when i wiped this with alcohol (which i do for my sony) paint immediately rubbed off. my cleaning cloth became so black it reminded me of whiteboard cleaning. i have wiped it for more than 10 times by now but paint still comes off. even when dry, the earpads irritates my skin when i wear it for longer than 20 minutes.

When you will eventually have to replace these pads it will be almost impossible because they are way too tight. Also the soundstage is severely negatively affected. Don't buy it, and purchase original ones.

Comfortable pads, not perfectly fit, but they fall in place after a while. Bass is present now,

same size as originals, good leather quality and build no major sound modifications, highly recommended!
