However, he has reached his fullest potential as a warrior, which is well below the abilities of his fellow party members. In a rather foolish moment of weakness, our protagonist is offered an exit opportunity by a conniving fellow party member. Never truly realizing there is more value to a warrior than brute strength.Retiring to a small, uneventful and isolated town, our protagonist intends on living out his days in peace. Then, he is reunited by a skilled and lovely female warrior, who happened to team up with our hero during his adventuring days. As they begin to build a merry life together, the once uneventful town they have retired in is starting to get interesting. Things are unfolding to the point where our protagonist must confront the visiting world’s hero, his little sister, and face the many consequences his abandoning has wrought.This is an interesting franchise. While it tetters on uneventful happenings, there is a lot going on that makes a slow life an interesting one. In this media form, this franchise is far more entertaining in comparison to its light novels. While containing mature themes and scenes, there is nothing hardcore and fanservicing is not a huge part of the storytelling. You’ll get your typical steams, beams of light, and random objects in perfect placement during exposure scenes.The portrayal of the female love interest was done so very well in this story. Being a capable warrior, she is more so such a charming girly sweetheart towards our protagonist.

Banished from the Hero's Party is now halfway into its second season. It's the story of a man who was asked to leave the Hero's party by a member who was jealous of him. He decides to live quietly in a quiet country, gathering herbs and compounding medicine (while using an alias). After a while he saves the life of a carpenter's son with one of his medicines, and in gratitude the carpenter builds him his own apothecary for free. Soon after a friend finds him and decides to live with him and help him run his store. They both enjoy the laid-back life but regularly get involved in adventures.This series is mainly drama with a little action, comedy and romance thrown in regularly I enjoyed it enough to buy the limited edition, which includes a nice poster and art cards, along with a sturdy chipboard box..

I wouldn't say it's the best of anime but it's definitely a good watch, the collector's edition was very nice, will keep forever
