Works great for my projects. They are kinda fragile so be careful. Good build.

one of the better versions of a TEC module available on Amazon
One worked great. I tested it with a massive Xeon heatsink and Delta 60 mm high CFM fan on the hot side and a small Chipset Heatsink the same LXW dimensions as the TEC. With an IR non-contact thermometer I measured up to 135 degrees F on the hot side and down to about 36 degrees F on the cold side in 75 degree ambient air. I didn't have adequate insulation and separation from the air on each side so these numbers quickly petered away. I power it with a 35 AH SLA Solar battery. The second module didn't perform as well. I don't remember the numbers but I think they were about 10 degrees different +/- on each side. Overall, I recommend these for any TEC project anyone has in the works.

It's a small TEC not a TEG
Be certain this is what you want. These are thermo electic coolers, not thermo electic generators. Still, good value, arrived in perfect condition. No complaints.

Good units. Very cold.
Made two cloud chambers with these and a pair of tec1-12709 in a cascade. Both cascades get down below -35 Celsius. Arctic Silver-5 on one unit, Ceramique 2 on the other, both perform similarly.

The the work better that the 12706
Work better for dropping the temp in my application for cooling my laser. But they do produce a good amount of head so be ready for that. First set I received where broken
