Good Value
Wanted a high definition camera for our anniversary vacation to Honolulu. Camera isn't point and shoot like description claims. But after playing with it for a few hours, it is fairly easy to use. Takes great photos.

Not what you think
Should have listened to other reviewer. He said it wasn't a minolta. He is right! Very poor quality camera. Do not waste your money. Very slow shutter speed, so slow that you end up with a fuzzy picture. I'm returning it, very disappointed. I have a Nikon D80, just wanted a little compact camera so I didn't have to take my big Nikon in situations where I might lose it. This was not the camera.

Not a quality camera
We wanted this camera specifically for it's macro setting. First of all, you get what you pay for. Just taking this out of the box felt like cheap plastic. The macro picture was "meh" and when you tried to zoom it, it is so pixelated, it's unrecognizable. This would be a good camera for a kid under 12.

Don't buy it
The quality of pictures are very questionable..the 48 megapixels are no even close to 10 megapixel, if you use the zoom mode ( very very slower by the way) it will turn everything to mine craft mode.. slow to turn on, slow to take a picture, qualify of pictures are not better than any camera that you can find in grandma's attic or thrift store. Don't waste your money in this camera... the worst part is to hear my wife saying.."you see now? I told you it was a piece of craPp".

Very pretty!
The photos I took with the camera turned out so amazing and in such a better quality I would’ve expected! Worth the purchase if you don’t want to buy a super nice expensive camera!

Not as described
I ordered this because I thought it would be better than my 10 year-old canon point and shoot. Wrong! The shutter is slow, the zoom takes so long to work that your picture is gone before you can take it. I took 8 practice pics and only 1 was decent. It is just poor quality and not Minolta quality. They may be using the name, but they certainly aren’t providing the quality along with it. Please save yourself the trouble of returning this camera and keep looking! Pay a bit more and buy a decent camera.
