My iPhone cords were all coming loose out of the port, or my phone would stop charging if I held it the wrong way. I bought this with the hope that I could avoid an expensive trip to the Apple store for a repair.After using all of the cleaning attachments once, my phone chargers stay plugged in again unless I really work hard to jostle it loose. It’s a definite improvement and I don’t worry about it randomly stopping its charge in the middle of the night. I’m going to give it another cleaning to hopefully fix the problem 100%.My only complaint is that there’s not a lightning-shaped cleaning brush/tool that I can easily jiggle around, even though there’s a usb-c shaped one. Although with iPhones moving to usb-c, this won’t be an issue in a few years.

I used this on an iPhone that had got to the point to where I had to hold the cord up to get it to charge. This was super easy to use and my phone is back to charging like it supposed to. I have already ordered a second one for my mother.

Before using the cleaning kit, the port on my IPhone XR was almost unusable. I needed to angle my charger a certain way in order to charge the phone and I was lucky if the charging cable stayed in the phone if it got bumped. After using a number of the tools in the kit including the detergent and putty, the port is like new. The charging cable now stays clicked securely in the charging port as it should.
