A very nice retro style lamp, I purchased this for my mother for her bedside table as she is very anti anything that has a modern feel and look, she said she wanted an old style lamp for her bedroom and after searching for a while I thought this would be ideal.It comes very well packed and presented in its own bespoke box showing quality from the start, the assembly is very simple and straight forward with instructions fitted into the lid of the box.I like the old style flex cable which certainly gives it a retro feel along with looking nice as it goes through the holes in the wooden lamp stand, the bottom part is great and really heavy giving it a good solid base unlike some lightweight lamps which are easy to knock over.I will add some pictures and have added a short video showing the assembly from start to finish which hopefully shows how simple it is, my original video is of high quality but please be aware the video quality often degrades considerable when uploaded through Amazon’s optimisation system but hopefully not too much. As a side note if you find the video won’t run as I often find then expand it to full size and start it then reduce the size again.What I liked************- Nice retro feel and look- Has a good solid heavy base- Old style flex- Comes with a three pin UK plug- Very nice design- Simple assembly- Very nice packaging ideal should you be getting it as a gift for someone- My mother loves itWhat I Didn’t Like******************- I normally find something to put here but thus far I haven’t found anything but will return and edit if my mother comes across any issues.Summary**********This is a really nice lamp of high quality from the packaging right through to the finishing of the lamp, and best of all my mother loves it. Great lil desk lamp.The bulb that comes with it is decent, nice warm glow for an ambient evening lamp.I’m using this to light up my arts and craft space while I create so I bought a:• MiniSun High Power 6w LED ES E27 SMD GLS Energy Saving Long Life Bulb - 6500K Cool White • from Amazon for a few squid.Works a treat-smashing bright white light so I can see what I’m doing very well-anytime of the gloomy day or dark night.The adjustable head is very handy and great for capturing well lit photos of what I’ve made for Instagram.Great buy, super quality for a bargain price, highly recommend 🤓

This is a lovely little lamp - arrived ready to assemble - took about one minute, if that. I like the old fashioned flex, the wood is nice quality and the instruction leaflet was just charming and sweet. It came with a bulb as well - how thoughtful!The base is good and heavy, the switch easy to use and conveniently near the base of the lamp - not miles down the flex which I always a pain when I run the cable down the back of a bookcase, then find I can't turn it on and off. Not with this one - it's in just the right place.Whoever designed this has thought through all the details. I'm off to find more of these lamps.....I'm going to look for more of these

I definite love it, so bright and beautiful to see. It has a very modern design and it looks amazing in my home office.Only con is the cable which could have been a little longer, instead I have to use an extension.

This is a fantastic lamp. My daughter wanted a vintage lamp for her desk, but not practical. We saw the reviews and decided to get it. it was easy to put together (my 15 year old did it) and it is really lovely to look at if you like this look. Highly recommend it.

Comes with a bulb, so that's a bonus from the start.Very sturdy construction and easy to assemble.The base has some weight to it so it's not going to topple over.Looks good too with the braided cable and is definitely value for money.

So the lamp came with a bulb but i ended up not using it and going with a smart bulb, the lamp is very strudy and you can very easily adjust the pitch/angle and you can tighten the bolt to make it easier or harder to adjust

Lovely looking little lamp !Daughter just moved out to share a house with friends in London ... lamp ideal for bedside table... thinking of getting another the same make for desk.Delivery swift and lamp ( which comes with a bulb ) was beautifully packaged .Overall very satisfied . I would recommend this lamp .
