Bottom line; Highly recommend this HA serum for sensitive skin. I use it daily to prevent sensitivity. It isn’t an immediate soothing product. Organic aloe spray, green tea, centella, chamomile, and calendula water serums seem to work best for that. (Eg: Borion Calendula Gel, Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream, Purito Centella, Glow Recipe Ceramide Serum.) -Pros: lightweight, unscented, not sticky or oily, sets quickly, layers well with other skincare, good in dry and combination skin, pump keeps serum fresh, vegan, cruelty-free -Cons: price

Out of the blue, the skin under my right eye suddenly became very dry, red and even cracked - which was very strange because I was consistently using an expensive moisturizing eye cream daily on it. It was painful and ugly and I was in desperate need of something to solve the issue. I of course turned to google to help - and that was too much information out there, but I eventually found this, and although pricey, decided to give it a try. To start with, you can use this on other parts of your skin besides under your eye, but I use it only there. Secondly, it goes a long long long way - you only need a very small amount to spread - I'm sure it's going to last a very long time. While it did not heal my skin over night, I am amazed and grateful that the skin under both of my eyes is so much healthier - it took a week or two, but I have no more issues. It's not a miracle - it didn't remove my dark circles or anything like that, but now I can't imagine going without it. Highly recommend!

Excellent serum for sensitive, reactive skin. Nice consistency, easy to apply, absorbs quickly. Fragrance-free. I started using it two or three years ago (purchasing it directly from the brand website). Since then, I have not had any of the rashes or irritation on my face that had been a regular occurrence previously, so I conclude that this product has fulfilled its promise to reduce sensitivity. My skin is, indeed, now calm! It is expensive but a little goes a long way and it works.

Angelo's wife here. I gave this product a month and though it helped some, it wasn't especially effective for my dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. It smelled unpleasant, almost like mushrooms (which are okay as food but not wiped under your nose). I have very reactive skin and this caused minimal additional inflammation. As I could see at least a slight improvement, I imagine there are some people this would be highly effective for.

This is a very nice toner. I use it after washing my face at night on a cotton ball to make sure all my makeup is gone, and I apply in the morning with my fingers after my shower. It is soothing and fairly moisturizing. Paula’s products have always been some of my favorites! I especially like the AHA exfoliant, Calm cleanser, and serums. (This is a review of Paula’s choice CALM toner, but I do love the serum, too!)
