SF-CC20XA Tuff Sports Stainless Steel Travel Mug, 68-Ounce

I got fed up of vending machine coffee at work (20p a cup) so used to use instant. After getting an Aerobie Aeropress I started taking in premade filter coffee, but the vacuum flasks I had at home would be pretty tepid after about 8 hours. Vacuum flasks are old technology, so you would think performance would be similar for most makes - apparently not. Reading reviews, Zojirushi are highly rated and are one of the few companies to actually publish expected heat loss figures for their vacuum flasks. They are similarly priced to other premium products, but, for the UK, appear to be Japanese import only. The package duly arrived after a couple of weeks. Depending how they are labelled, some packages may cop for import duty and the dreaded £8 import processing fee. All the instructions are in Japanese (do you really need instructions on how to use a vacuum flask?), but are available in English on their website. The lid seal pulls off easily for cleaning and everything washes out easily. This particular model has a coating inside the flask to reduce staining so I would avoid using abrasive cleaners, but just rinse with soapy water. There is also a warning to leave an air gap at the top as overfilling could cause leaks. Lots of warnings about the contents being hot...DUH! The 1l flask is enough for a shifts worth of coffee for me. After 10 hours the coffee is still hot. Heat retention is excellent. (I preheat the flask before use with hot water which always helps). The spout mechanism is easy to operate one handed and seals well. The lid screws on positively. The carrying strap is adequate. Overall, this is a premium product that is well worth importing and definitely worth the price and wait compared to its more readily available premium competitors.

I use flasks all the time, I have flasks from all the leading brands. I would recommend Stanley steel flasks and Coleman = both excellent quality and very good choices - but for me personally, this is my first choice and the Zojirushi 68-Ounce Tuff Sports Stainless Steel Flask is, imo, the best Flask. My only criticism is that the included cup is a bit ‘shallow’ for my liking, so I tend to use the lid which doubles up as an additional cup. The profile (size) of the flask is smaller than similar Stanley & Coleman flasks yet holds more ! And keeps the contents hotter longer and cooler longer. The construction and stainless steel used in the Zojirushi is, imo, better than other flasks = It holds 2 litres ! Well designed and engineered and Superb Quality. I would absolutely recommend this item..

So, am field based and after seeing the price rise across all the coffee shops and fast food outlets i use for a drink, realise am in for £30-40 pw and thats the cheapest one -McDonald's Had afew flasks only lasted up to 4-5 hrs before cooling to much...So had a good look round , found this one and did alot of research as in my opinion was to expensive. This flask appears in several reviews for maintaining it's heat the longest.....so took the plunge First impression, all instructions in Japanese. Looks well made, well finished with quality products Performance, preheated before filling. After four hours still piping hot....had to let my coffee cool. After eight hours still had to let my coffee cool. After eight hours Coffee still to warm to directly drink Flask left in vehicle over night ( 3 degrees over night) and emptied to clean 27hrs after filling it...it was warm as bath water The cap is a great design, unscrews for cleaning but in use has a small round button that when depressed a small pouring spout opens and pours well, there is another slide that pops out the side when opened , simply push this back in and the spout closes The internals of the flask looks like some sort of silicon liner Overall The flask is expensive for what it is . Real life finding of how long it keeps hot is worth the price in my opinion This flask should pay for itself in two weeks, best of all don't have to drive to the outlets. Pre use...half fill the flask with boiling water and put the cap on..left for 10-15 minutes, empty then fully fill with boiling water Doing this gives you a choice of what drink to make Tea,Coffee ,Soup or noddles. Not tried how long it can keep cool for. Would recommend

Maintains temperature better than any I have had previously. Robust, with easily cleaned cap and pourer.

Very Happy with 1.5 litre and how amazingly keeps temperature is breathtaking. Highly can recommend!

Totally amazing ! Filled this with boiling water and SEVENTY TWO HOURS later - it still could provide a very hot cup of coffee. I have tried EVERY insulated flask - some costing a lot more than this one - but this is by far the best of any I have tried. It is not a cheap item but you only get what you pay for. If you want hot drinks on the go - I highly highly recommend this one.

An excellent flask & one that I am certainly glad we have recently purchased. It keeps the contents really hot for a long time & doesn't seem to cool down the contents even when partially full. The main thing that I was looking for though, was a flask that was easy to open/close, as we have been struggling with this issue with other types of flask manufacturer. This is easy to open/close & fill, as the stopper has a clever push button type design. For me this was the real reason why we bought it, it is a real joy to use. So I can certainly recommend it, a definite must have!!

Machte auch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Sie war uns zu klein und wir haben die 1,5 l -Flasche des Herstellers bestellt, mit der wir sehr zufrieden sind.

Heute ist das Paket angekommen. Bevor ich die Flasche mit auf den Weihnachtsmarkt genommen habe, habe ich direkt einen Test gemacht. Ich habe kochendes Wasser eingefüllt und die Flasche nach draußen gestellt (Außentemperatur ca. 4 °C). Nach fünf Stunden habe ich das Wasser in ein Glas gegossen. Es war immer noch fast kochend. Ich habe mir dabei sogar etwas Wasser über die Hand gegossen und mich verbrannt.
