lid sags and creates gaps (had to duct tape it)the o-rings are not strong. 4 snapped already.worked well enough for my tarantula as he is bigger but would not recommend this for small spiders, snakes, or really any critter as they will probably escape

Love this little habitat for my land snail. It comes as a "flat pack" think, Ikea, and needs to be assembled. The instructions are poor but it's pretty easy to figure out. Basically put the pieces in the right spots and use tiny eleastics to hold the puzzle pieces together. I used aquarium silicone and siliconed along the inside edges to make it somewhat water tight to protect the piece of furniture its on. I've had it about 4 months now and the lid is bowing inward a little bit creating a bit of a gap; not sure if thats from my snail hanging off the lid but it's not super sturdy. The thermometer seems pretty acurate as I have a real themometer placed next to the enclosure and it reads the same as the provided thermometer. The hygrometer seems acurate as my snail is thriving but I haven't done a comparison so maybe someone else could comment on that. Overall for the price this is a budget friendly enclousure but security and durability are definitely sacraficed.
