An excellent little table lamp.Well designed and well made, the instructions were also very good, in simple and clear writing they tell you what the correct bulb for this lamp is, unlike some electrical products I have bought recently, where it seems the instructions were transliterated from Chinese.This is important, because there are hallogen and other energy efficient bulbs available, that being of the correct size, would seem ideal, but which are actually completely unsuitable for it.I will certainly consider Lloytron, for any future lighting I may wish to buy, it was an emergeny purchase, but I have found that Lloytron is an excellent brand.The lamp arrived on time, and I was easily able to collect it at my post office, via the Amazon local collect service.

My Previous Desk Lamp Which Was Many Years Old Had Created A Bulb Holder Fault So Desided To Buy A New One.Lucky Me I Found This One Which Is The Same But Built by Someone Else. It Does NOT Come With A Bulb Which Is A Small Screw Threaded Type. It does Have A Sticker Inside The Reflecter Mentioning "9w max LED or 35w max Halogen E14 Golf Ball" It Has A Weight Within The Base. Makes It A Good Reading Light As It Has A Bendable Neck.Very Cheap.

Apparently a perfect desk lamp for me. I wanted one that I could put Halogen bulbs into. (Having learnt that LED may be harmful to eyesight and I find it's light quality harsh & cold anyway). An inexpensive lamp, but solid & good looking. Small and neat. It's called 'classic' but it's cute & modern-looking in reality too. I'll be honest though & say I'm very concerned about reviews (just seen) for this lamp exploding after a few months! I will repost here if it doesn't last & safely! I've only had it a week, and safety & it lasting for reasonable time, is essential. I normally study reviews more closely, but my relief at eventually finding a good looking lamp that can use a halogen bulb, influenced my original higher score!

I’m happy with my lamp it looks nice next to my bed it has a much easier reach on/off switch on the base rather than on the cable so in my humble opinion makes it safer my last lamp had the switch on the cable & the wires became exposed so I much prefer this lamp. Lights up our bedroom just right very happy.

Bought about six of these for my grandson when he was using lighting in his Lego Movies he used to make they used to be moved round if not kicked round by my little boy but they all still work and I use them for bedside lights readinf lights etc also the flex ability of range is great and they were such good value for mony

The lamp is great in itself, it looks fairly nice and works quite simply.The thing that i've found is that it goes through bulbs quite quickly, hence the 3 star rating i gave it.If it could support a bigger range of bulbs it'd be perfect but i think there's an issue with the flow of electricity in the lamp causing the bulbs to not last as long.So it's a good item for the price, but buy plenty of spare bulbs.

Bought for my grandson for his bedroom. He's happy with it. Bulb not supplied.

I bought two of these lamps, and can confirm that Quality Control is non existent wherever these are produced.One of them is fine and after two years remains functional, the other has developed a fault in the switch that makes it flicker and cause bulb damage. I dismantled my faulty lamp in order to fix it, and found some of the worst soldering I've ever seen, cables that had obviously been stripped by someone's teeth and a faulty switch that was irreplaceable as a contained unit. The inclusion of a faulty switch in an otherwise sturdily constructed lamp is an immediate sign of planned obsolescence in action, rendering the manufacturer little more that a bottom feeding parasite.This company have found a way of making the simplicity of a lamp, faulty.Avoid at all costs.

Esta lampara no es apta para el mercado europeo y mucho menos español. En la mínima descripción de producto no dice que el enchufe es para REINO UNIDO, POR LO TANTO NO VALE PARA NUESTRAS TOMAS DE CORRIENTE.Muy mal por parte del fabricante intentar vender un producto que no se puede utilizar ni en España ni en la CE.

Impossible d'installer cette lampe sur une prise de courant française: les embouts sont plats et non ronds . très deçue de cet article que je retourne.... Produit à ne pas acheter en France....
