Received my PhotoStick Omni today and backed up the photos from two iPhones. Using the latest version of the app from the Apple Store, I was about to back up both phones. One had over 1000 pictures and it took only about 10-15 minutes. I was then able to copy the pictures and burn them to a DVD. I was then able to delete the originals from the phones,saving a lot of space on the phone and in cloud storage. While using the software is a bit cryptic, watching the How to connect video included in the app told me everything I needed to know. Using this product was a very fast and easy way of finally unloading a lot of pictures off the phones.

Exactly what I ordered and worked perfectly to download pictures from my iphone, and then to my computer, and then on to my external drive.

The directions weren't as clear as they could be, but once I got it loaded all was good. Once I kicked it off, it ran without problem. The only thing I didn't care for was it kept stopping after it had saved some files, and I had to click "Go" for it to continue finding and saving files. Otherwise it was flawless. Some have complained about the fit of this device in their USB port, but that was not an issue for me. I recommend.

Day 2: When it finally stopped downloading yesterday and said it was full, only some of my photos were downloaded. Looked at the storage and it said only 19% was used. Huh? Then why did it stop downloading and say it was full? I went back and read the directions and even asked AI, which gave me directions, but it's very confusing. I will keep working on it. 30 days later: Still can't figure this thing out. I've read the directions over and over, watched videos, etc. but nothing was helpful. Cons - 1) downloads photos in no particular order. So photos from a trip to Italy were all over the place, not all together. 2) tons of photos had 2-5 duplicates! When I followed the directions given to me by the "chat rep", they would just reappear after I deleted them. 3) doesn't download all photos. Maybe it was just my stick that was defective but thing is going in the trash.

I have so many pictures on my phone and I am Always afraid I will lose them due to phone malfunction or loss… This was the perfect answer! So easy to upload and it does it quickly!

I have an iphone 16 pro I did everything besides singing to it but could not get the photo stick to work . I downloaded the app but still could not get it to work I am sure apple does not want it to work. It might work with a droid but I do not know I only bought it so I did not have to pay Icloud and have to agree to their terms its not for my benefit. Good Luck

Ein sehr schöner Stick, der mit seinem Adapter an verschiedenste Geräte passt. Umgekehrt kann man aber mit dem Adapter auch iPhone und andere Geräte mit dem iPad verbinden. Die Speicherkapazität ist für den normalen Gebrauch ausreichend, die Schreibgeschwindigkeit ist gut.
