Got tired of trying to put foil around the edge and keeps falling off so decided to give this a try- wow the crust on my Apple pie was perfect- nice and brown. Easy to use I would recommend. Fits a 9 inch pie dish perfectly.

Makes pie baking easy
This pie shield is perfect for those bakers who have a problem with the edge of the crust burning. It wraps around the crimp of the crust, saving the hassle of trying to wrap that edge with aluminum foil. Not only will it work on different sizes of pies, but you can put it on when the pie first goes in the oven. It is dishwasher friendly, so throwing it on the top rack gets it clean.

Useful device
Didn't even know these things existed 'til I saw them mentioned in a recipe. They kept my sugar cookies at an even thickness and I could see them being helpful to roll out a uniformly thin pie crust. Be sure to know the diameter of your rolling pin, so you order the correct size. Wish I knew about and used them earlier in my baking life.

Just ok...pretty flimsy
These are just ok...they are quite flimsy. I like how they are able to be custom sized, but that's about it. I'm just new into baking pies so maybe they need to be broken in. They get the job done I suppose.

The silicone stays cool . It has a clip to hold it at any diameter of pie, and its dishwasher (top rack only) safe! Perfect

No more burnt edges!
I already had two of these pie crust protectors and love them. I got this one for my son. It will fit a large, 10" pie pan and nicely protects the edges of your crust from burning. Just remember to take them off 5-10 minutes before your pies are done and they will come out perfect.

The pie guard stayed in place in my convection oven with the fan blowing.
I liked that the product was adjustable and only one piece. It worked like it was supposed to. No burned edges on my Apple pie. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who bakes pies.

Good idea in theory
It seemed like a great idea until I started rolling the dough and realized that I can only roll a strip of dough that is as long as the distance between the two rings, otherwise it cuts the dough. I ended up not using them
