Red Cafetiere Jacket - 8 Cup

This really keeps a full pot of coffee warm!It’s terrific for those top ups.I will buy more as presents.?

8 cup Cafetiere insulation jacket fits well and keeps coffee warm for a reasonable time. Seems a bit thin with limited heat preserving function.

I bought this jacket for a Bodum 8-cup cafetiere. It's made from Neoprene sheet, shaped to allow for the spout and handle, bound all round with black binding, and fastening with a vertical Velcro strip between the top and bottom handle fixing points. It needs two hands to fit as it's slightly stretchy. Although there are no washing instructions with it, it washes well too (but as with all Velcro, watch out for the hooks).It's neat, smart, effective and a colourful addition to the breakfast table.It keeps the coffee hot plenty long enough for us to get to our second mugful (which is all we ask of it- who wants overbrewed coffee anyway), but don't expect it to work like a vacuum jug would.Just the job: five stars.

Sufficient stretch in the neoprene material to wrap around the cafetière and ensure a snug fit. To ensure you don't burn your fingers on the hot glass, wrap this around the cafetière before you pour in the hot water over the coffee grounds. If your cafetière drips during use then the stains on the neoprene cover can be easily removed - just scrub with a pan scourer and washing up liquid, rinse thoroughly under the tap and leave over a radiator to try. Keeps the coffee hot long enough to enjoy a full cafetière, as others have said. Lots to commend it, even the bright red colour!

Like this cafetiere jacket very much - great colour, and it keeps the coffee warm for ages...

The 8-cup red jacket is smart and sturdy, but very tight-fitting on our standard Bodum 8-cup cafetière. At first we thought we had ordered the wrong size, but it does fit if you pull the jacket cloth really hard and make sure the velcro is secured. Presumably it slackens over time, but at present it’s quite a work-out!

Arrived yesterday and only used once, so early days, but, the jacket feels really well made and fits my classic La Cafetiere perfectly with cut outs for handle and spout in exactly the right places and sizes. The velcro is a substantial piece so no fiddling to use it. And it keeps the coffee hot. Could not be better.
