I swear by aloe Vera and this make is very good, a little sticky but great on burns , sunburn or dry skin

I'm on permanent oxygen therapy. Using a nasal cannula causes me all sorts of sore spots and painful areas. Because you can't use oxygen with petroleum based products, my old standby for these types of sores (petroleum jelly) is not allowed. After several attempts at using various other creams, none were really doing the job, or were causing me problems with fragrances. One cream I found half worked, but was really expensive. 😫 Also, the Doctors couldn't find anything in their list of creams to help. The one approved cream was fragrant, and that left me with watering eyes and horrid smells in my sinuses for hours after trying it. Cue me suddenly wondering if Aloe Vera gel would do the job? 🤔 It has. Indeed, I was surprised by how quickly the sore just inside my nasal passage calmed down. I won't ever have a completely unsore spot there, the cannula's just rub at that point no matter what I try. However, this Aloe Vera gel has soothed it to a tolerable level that is no longer rubbed raw to the point of bleeding like it did in the past. I noticed a marked difference within twenty-four hours, and almost full relief within about three days. It cools when I first put on the gel, which is a nice feeling, the quality has been good, and best of all, it doesn't cost me a fortune. I apply this at least twice a day, sometimes more. For me, a little goes a long way, so it's proving even better value for money. The relief is amazing, and I am so grateful this has taken away the pain the cannula was causing. Add in the lack of fragrance, and it's a win all round for me.

I use it for fading hyperpigmentation, and I have benefited from it, but it will take many days of use to see total clearance in my estimation. It can be a bit harsh if too much is applied in an area, so use lightly, and also I'm not sure whether it is the aloe vera or the preservatives that cause irritation when too much is applied. It is of a good quality, in that it is smooth and not sticky, and absorbs right into the skin without any issue, and it is light on the skin so it doesn't feel like a burden. It is really easy to apply, but it gives off a scent when I do whose origin I don't know if is the aloe or some other additive. Generally, aloe vera is a humectant, so without an occlusive applied on top, it can dry the skin out, for which I also apply an oil (like argan oil) on the skin after the gel to hold the moisture in. I highly advise doing that. Never go full aloe.

Intermediate aloe Vera gel, better than what can be found in some stores but definitely not the best. Not for sensitive skins. It is not a pure product; it contains synthetic ingredients and problematic preservatives like phenoxyethanol. It is not suitable for sensitive skin due to these additives and is not fully natural.

Good stuff! So many uses! Always handy to have a bit of Aloe Vera in your cabinet.

Este gel es mágico, en mi caso lo he usado para quemaduras del sol y de láser y el resultado es perfecto. Crea una película en la piel y va regenerando lo dañado sin dolor, ni molestias. El olor a aloe no me gusta, pero es precisamente lo bueno del gel, al no tener alcohol ni perfumes, el producto es más puro y efectivo.
