Frosted Glass
We had been looking for something to put on the windows of our rear porch, not only to give our neighbours privacy, but to make the porch more private for us, as we used it for Storage. We looked at do it your self film and installed film, both quite expensive, but this was brilliant, it took minutes to do and even though ti felt dry to the touch, it took a while for the coverage to dry evenly, and for £7, an absolute bonus, beat the £200+ we were quoted for the company to come and put the film on the same windows, and the £95 for the plastic do it yourself film too.I sprayed this on to the glass, I would advise using it in a well ventilated area, as it has a bit of a strong smell, I left it to dry over a couple of days, and where I thought I might have a thick patch, by the time it was fully dry, it was like a professional coating. It gives privacy without blocking the light, and costs a fraction of the price, if you have a downstairs cloakroom with clean glass this is the ideal solution, clean the window first, spray directly on to the glass and hey presto, an opaque glass for a fraction of the cost of a replacement double glazed panel.I would recommend this to anyone, wanting to add privacy without costing a fortune, you don't have to do the whole pane, you could use masking tape to what ever height you wanted, spray to the lower edge and leave the rest clear, you could cut out a pattern attach it to the window, spray over it, remove the pattern and you have a nice etched pattered glass, unique to you. Brilliant product, will use it again.

Great Results with a little care..
Great product, works a treat.. completely turning a clear window opaque to give some privacy. You have to make sure the glass is thoroughly clean before use, then spray in a smooth sweeping motion from a distance of around 30cm. For best results that look less patchy you need multiple light coats rather than thick ones.. allowing ample time to dry between each. I gave my window 4 coats and it looks like genuine frosted glass.Much easier to use than the sticky plastic film!Just remember to keep the room well ventilated (and ideally wear a mask) as the product does have a strong solvent like smell, much like regular car spray paints...

Fantastic, cheap alternative to permanent window frosting....
I purchase this as installed an en-suite into my home and needed privacy as the windows were fully clear. I looked around online and getting a 'film' to press onto the glass but although the window in question isn't overly big (about 60" x 35", split in two) it was looking to be £80+ for a simple film, but obviously further hassle when applying to press out bubbles etc. I decided to opt for this after watching a video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk5Pxs9EjsY) and realised how easily this is applied. Took about 1 hour (or just over) to finish my window, about 4 coats of frosting and the finish is perfect. I couldn't rate this higher. Have recommended to a few friends who needed the same thing, just be careful of a few points:- Has a very strong odour, make sure the room is very well ventilated after using to clear the smell. Get a face mask so not to be breathing in the scent.- Do not hold the can too close to the glass, in the video he holds about 2"-3" from the window however that is far too close, you get streaks. Hold it roughly 10"-15" from the window to get a very even, smooth, consistent finish.- When spraying make sure to move quickly, swiftly and evenly, if you move too slow you will again get streak marks.- Ensure before you start spraying the frost that you apply masking tape to the window frame/edge to avoid getting this anywhere you may not want it. Do not peel off the tape until you know for sure the frost has fully dried.- Make sure to allow around 10-15 minutes in between coats so you know the previous coat has dried before applying another.Remember this is NOT permanent, and can be removed afterwards if you are not pleased with the outcome. It can also be scratched off if someone attempts to, but in my opinion if left alone is a fantastic cheap alternative to film or permanent frosting.FYI- If you're unsure wherever to buy more than 1 can, check my window dimensions, I ordered 2 cans just in case and used a little of the second can. Hope this review helps.

Professional finish
Great finish and easy to use. It looks patchy on the first couple of coats but stick with it as it looks much better as it dries and you add another coat or two. The first can stopped working half way through but luckily I had ordered two and managed to finish the job. A bit smelly so open windows and doors. Really happy with the finish.

Don't use on house windows
It done the job but doesn't look great but it's for a garrage side door so I don't care. But would not use on any house windows

Just do as you’re told!
I used just one can to transform these two vintage lampshades. The light is soft, warm and diffuse, and the inner workings are now invisible. All it took was three very light coats on each panel that were quickly and easily applied. I did each of the six panels on each light individually, and masked off the rest of the shade each time. You should be able to do both over the course of a day with light, frequent attention while you’re free to get in with other things. This was a very inexpensive way to transform two very lovely lights into something even more useful and beautiful.Just read the instructions thoroughly and follow them exactly, and you will have no problem.
