Organic Basmati White Rice 5kg (BWFO)

I use the boil & drain method to cook rice. The rice comes out beautiful, fragrant and with a rich creamy taste. I usually have to add a little butter but not at all required. The price is really good compared to everywhere else aswel. The family and friends compliment it too. All in all amazing. I have ordered a few times and the quality has been consistently high. Good Would Buy Again. Delivery / Packaging As Standard.

Can you believe it - this company is a 15 minute cycle ride from me.Sadly they do not do a pick up service.Whole Food Earth does a pick up service - and it’s 2 streets down from me.Literally, a stones throw.And, I do use them - a lot.However, these guys are, hands down, the best price for white Basmati.The delivery time is 3/4 days - so think ahead when running low.Handy tip - if you boil the rice with tumeric and curry powder (organic) and in pure water (Osmio Reverse Osmosis Machine), adding a big spoon of organic extra Virgin, unrefined/raw 🥥 oil and then let it cool and then put it in the fridge overnight - it becomes resistant starch.That offsets the negatives of white basmati.As will all the other additions.Don’t do whole grain basmati - the lectins will mess you up.In fact - check everything you consume for lectins.Lectins mess you up.Further note - soy is super bad for men, however Biona do a Shoyu Sauce - it’s tripled distilled.Fermentation is a good thing.And organic - obviously.And yes, once chilled over night you are fine to reheat and the resistant starch remains active.I reheat in Sainburies SO unrefined EVOO (Sainburies Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil), and add garlic powder, onion powder, and Biona Organic ketchup.Plus Broccoli Sprouts - for Sulforaphane.Reheat for no longer than 120 seconds (two minutes) to retain the full goodness of everything involved.Yes - the ketchup addition is a game changer.Whoever has just run the gauntlet of this - I feel that we have bonded.Have a great day, man.M.😀

As expected

This rice is great. I am very particular about my rice so finding a nice quality, tasty organic rice is RARE.And i've tried ALL the major brands tilda, dawat, other organic brands that are tasteless etc.This organic rice is so much healthier and tastes fresh and fragrant and goes with everything. The only downside is the this rice is not aged at all and the supplier confirmed this. Rice is much better/tastier when aged so i just wish it was. That would make it perfect. I am not buying any other brands for now and use them for all my rice needs, and my kitchen smells great when this is cooking !
