I'm really surprised!
I'm fat! Not just a few pounds that skinny girls say I'm seriously overweight! Like 20 stone fat! And my problem is I'm too lazy to get of my butf n exercise. Then Corona came along and I got laid off work so I thought it might be an idea to use the time wisely! I started day one and could only do 20 mins, now I'm a week in and first the 1st time ever I'm actually looking forward to it every day!The woman who does it can be a bit annoying but I like the set up of the dvd. Comes with a poster so you can see the workout split up over the 90 days and I can see when I have done it n tick each work out I do. The exercises are split into 3 minute work out and 1 min rest, perfect for me! As I say I'm lazy! And tbh I dont wanna do 30 mins all out bit camp! There is a block on screen to let you know the count down of that routine, and the exercise comes up with a time bar so u can push yourself to keep doing what she wants you to until the bar runs out.I actually like this set of DVDs, its got me up and moving and that's an achievement! I'm hoping to stick to it over the stay home period! And we shall see how I do! So far the, has to be a better home fitness alternative than most I have tried

A cheaper version of Insanity.
It's a cheaper version of the workout DVD's you find on late night/early morning infomercials. I like it because it has a woman presenting instead of some ripped guy who thinks everybody wants to look like that. I really just want to be a bit thinner. I'm not going to lie. The workout is tough and I don't always find the time to get it done. What I also found confusing was the difficulty level. I was somehow thinking that it would have an option button for you to decide which level you wanted to begin at. Instead it has three women doing exactly the same thing. It's only if you look closely that the backing girls are varying the workout. The camera doesn't really show them enough for me to see what is going on so that I can find the best workout for me. Instead I feel compelled to follow the hardest level and put my body under strain. That's not to say I wont stick with it. I'll keep going as long as it takes. I'm not following the calendar to the letter but will use it as a reference what to do next.

Great value, functional varied workouts
This is a brilliant set of workouts, it has cardio, weights and some yoga type stretch workouts too. It has taken me a while to get used to the instructor’s voice and the quirky phrases she uses. But you have the option to choose the audio (eg voice, voice and music, etc) once you get to know the moves you could turn the sound right off it it bothers you. But she makes me laugh and comes across as genuine. The workout quality is excellent, it’s all very functional, she is probably a PT I imagine from how she talks. There are different modifications, although one small annoyance is that the camera doesn’t always zoom in on the person doing the modification so you might not know at the start of a section how to do that. And yes, the production quality is not as slick perhaps as others you can buy, however I feel that is secondary to the results you achieve from this which are good. Overall for the money, and the variety, and the quality of the workout content, this is excellent.

I took Stephanies advice of holding 2 dumbells together to produce a bigger weight - brilliant idea! I did the Total Body Blitz
Ordered it Friday - it was delivered on Monday! Fabulous service.I emailed Stephanie's email address for some info about which size weights to use. They came back very quickly and explained that the reason she doesn't mention the size of weights much during the work-out is that each person's idea of light, medium and heavy weights are different, depending on what level of fitness you are at. She uses far heavier weights than I could manage at my level of fitness. (Her middle sized dumbell is 8lb's)!I am a fairly fit person but I am not used to lifting weights when working out, so I got a set of ladies coloured dumbbells 0.5kg, 1kg and 1.5kg plus also a 2.5kg dumbbell as well. I took Stephanies advice of holding 2 dumbells together to produce a bigger weight - brilliant idea! I did the Total Body Blitz last night using 2.5kg and then upped the weight by either 0.5kg or 1kg as necessary. It was very enjoyable and am looking forward to trying the other DVD's. Hope this helps anyone thinking of trying this out.

Comprehensive and fun work outs that I found effective!
This set is very comprehensive, with plenty of different work outs so you can either follow the included guide, or target any particular area you want. Great to have a plan included. There are also options if you are not following the plan, if you want cardio there is the 'Cardio Max' or 'Cardio', for a core workout there is 'XTFMAX Abs' or 'Hard Core', etc. There aren't any gimmicks, just hard work and a variety of exercises, at different levels. Equipment required is minimal. I thought the DVDs were really a great price compared to other plan workout DVD sets. Just because they were cheap however hasn't made them any less enjoyable or effective. I have been using them for a couple of months, and I am not bored with them. The presenter, Stephanie Oram is likable, and she sweats along with you. Always encouraging, but giving full instructions with pointers, she points out areas to watch and common mistakes. I really enjoy the XTFMAX series as I whole. I have the One on One DVDs as well which are great when short on time and you can't fit one of these longer workouts in.

Great for post-baby toning & shaping up
I got this for a bit of post-baby toning up as I had baby no2 4 months ago. As someone else mentioned, this is the perfect purchase it you are at home with kids and can't get to the gym. There are 12 workouts in total ranging from 25-46 minutes in length. You need to be fairly dedicated as you will be training 6 or 7 days a week. I try to do mine early before the kids get up but even if they are running around I still manage to get the programme done OK.I find Stephanie quite entertaining "I'm sweating' like a sinner on a Sunday" but I guess not everyone agrees. I like the 4 levels as I am 4 on some and 1 or 2 on others. All in all, great value. I'm on week 5 and although my weight has remained fairly constant, I know that a) this is because I am close to my target weight anyhow and b) I'm losing fat and putting on muscle which is the best way to shape up.
