Breville BRITA HotCup Hot Water Dispenser | Integrated Water Filter | 1.8L with 3kW Fast Boil & Variable Dispense | Energy-efficient use | Stainless Steel [VKJ367] [Energy Class A] The volume of a 1.8L water dispenser would not be practical for a family of 4+, as the unit can only dispense 300ml 1 cup at a time in 40 seconds. For a more convenient water filtration solution, I recommend using a Brita glass jug instead of the built-in filter. This way, you can easily dispense water for your kettle, making your daily routine more manageable. Nevertheless, four plus cuppas can be achieved effortlessly by relaying requests for a water-filled Brita kettle.Patience being a virtue for your clan?40 seconds x 4 = 2 minutes 40 seconds. For your family's health and safety, the unit is designed to fast boil at 60 degrees, not 100 degrees. This ensures the water is hot enough for your needs but not excessively. The unit is also an average-sized kettle, making it suitable for everyday use. The Brita filter is designed to remove hardness, chlorine, and heavy metals, significantly improving the taste and quality of your water. This filtration system is particularly valuable in regions with hard water, ensuring your family's health and safety by preventing limescale and enhancing the taste of your water. The device cannot be remotely controlled. The push-button switch lets users dispense hot water with a simple button push. The measure dial has increments of approximately 70ml to 300ml. A separate stop switch lets users stop the flow at any time.Power Consumption: 3000 Watts (3kW), which is very cost-effective and saves on power consumption. Voltage (UK/EU) 240 Volts, Voltage (Other Regions) | 100 Volts, 220 Volts Energy Efficiency Class A+++ to G Noise Level Analysis: Quieter than most kettles Overall, this kettle would benefit someone looking for a home appliance to reduce power consumption. I bought one, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The Best Brew !
I ordered this to replace the Breville I had bought a few years ago. I was so impressed by it I decided to upgrade and go with the same. This one has the Brita filter technology which I love. The machine itself is really aesthetic and very well made/high quality. It is definitely a better use of energy being able to accurately boil just the right amount and it is also super quick whereas some traditional kettles can take an age! My only grip was the delivery. Bearing in mind this item wasn't exactly cheap it was just dropped onto the door mat. I had been watching the tracking as my dog goes galactic whenever someone comes to the door so was hoping to intercept. The delivery guy didn't knock or ring the doorbell meaning it was sat on the mat outside for some time. Not cool Amazon... That said, I highly recommend the item and would purchase again in a heartbeat

VERY GOOD
Obviously, this has a larger footprint than a kettle but somehow I've got more space on my small worktop than before! It's a fairly simple piece of kit to work out how to use and once assembled and the filter soaked before using then two boils of water discarded, it's great! Put my clean cup under the spout with the teabag in, press button, it boils almost instantly then immediately pours into your cup! Warning! Make sure you set the button to the small cup so it doesn't overflow, practise which setting you need for YOUR cup. But there is a STOP button at the front which I didn't even notice at first so you can stop it from overflowing and it's instant. My only criticism is that I don't find it easy to fill or to see into when I'm filling it from a jug. Like a filter jug you have to wait for the water to filter through into the bottom. It can take a good few minutes if you want to fill the kettle to max so you have to wait for each jugfull of water to filter through. Before this I was pouring water into a filter jug and then into my kettle so it's just a different way of doing that. But the part at the top where you pour water in is quite awkward to pour into and visibility is limited. I bought this because I'm recovering from two broken shoulders, wrist and fingers so lifting even an empty kettle has become too much for me, so this will be easier once I get used to the pouring part of the process.
