You cant go wrong!
Really happy with this Fulton Ambassador Men’s Umbrella. It feels sturdy right out of the box and opens smoothly every time. The black design is classic and looks good whether I’m dressed up for work or just running errands. It’s big enough to stay completely dry in a heavy downpour, and the frame feels strong even on windy days. The handle is comfortable to hold and gives it a nice, polished look. Overall, it’s a well-made, reliable umbrella that’s worth the price. Glad I went with this one!

Perfect!
Best umbrella fullstop. Not only does it fold away to literally put back into a messenger style bag, it's actually really strong, has been blown inside out quite a few times in the past years and not had any problems popping back to normal. Literally still using it and it's been about 2-3 years. No problems whatsoever and would reccomend this again and again to everyone. rain bounces off the umbrella and hardly stays wet, dries in no time and have used it in the storms of storms. perfect stylish and very compact when folded. I always keep it with me and when it rains, people have complimented me saying i come prepared haha, however it's just so small you can take it with you and not worry if it does rain or not because it's there. This is what you call a Quality umbrella ladies and gentlemen and students alike. Stop going to the pound shop buying cheap 1 pound umbrellas and get a Fulton! Edit - (4 years later) Still have this umbrella In perfect condition. Has not worn out, never broken no damage to the material whatsoever. Really impressed with this umbrella and has stood the mark of time. Guys this is without a doubt an instant buy if you're looking for an umbrella! Edit - (6 years later, purchased in Oct 2012 and writing this in Jan 2018) Still hasn't broken and working perfectly fine. Absolutely no problems with this and have used it throughout many tough conditions in winter. I genuinely reccomend this item and still tell people about this when they're considering buying an umbrella. Edit - (8 years on writing in June 2020) The push to open mechanism is a little worn now. Requires a bit of pressure to open and to close. But otherwise its still working great! Update: 12/08/22 This Umbrella definitely lasted it's time. I would like for everyone to put F's in the chat as it's officially been laid to rest. I have to say, From November 2012 to August 2022 I would say this has lasted a heck of a long time given the price paid also. I'm quite sad I have to part ways with it but this will likely be the last update here. I don't need an umbrella as much anymore as I'm working from home so the usage in the last year or two has declined. But I have thoroughly been happy with this umbrella and will forever recommend it.

Good size
Good umbrella, good size but to large for pocket or handbag. Works well blew inside out once but survived and still working ok. Fast delivery

High Quality Umbrella; Heartily Recommend
This umbrella is very well-made: it can withstand high winds, the fabric is tough and tear-resistant, the metal seems like good quality steel. The plastic handle is comfortable to hold and useful for hanging up. Hook handles definitely preferable to straight ones I think. It's also plenty wide enough to shelter someone else under, particularly useful for beguiling damp ladies. It's also good value for money, as my experience with Fulton umbrellas (this is my third) is that they last for years and years (I've got a Fulton golf umbrella that must be 7 years old and still works fine). Though they might be more expensive than a more basic unbranded one for a couple of pounds, if you buy the latter you end up buying one every couple of weeks as they break so readily, so this works out as much more in the long run. Only thing to bear in mind is that it's quite long when folded-up (about a foot) so not the type of micro-umbrella you could fit in a coat pocket or handbag. But otherwise it's pretty light and narrow; fits easily in a rucksack or similar bag. If I don't have a bag and it's folded up I tend to hang it off a belt loop like a revolver. This makes me feel like a cowboy, and that's something everybody needs in their life. Actually it's also worth noting that the button to open it has a pretty ballistic flavour: the sturdy mechanism produces a satisfying whoosh and recoil on firing, and collapsing it feels not unlike loading a pump-action shotgun. Anyway, so my original point in bringing up my whole 'wish I was a cowboy but actually I just own an umbrella' fantasy was that despite being a bit big, the umbrella is still portable, and ultimately I think an umbrella that's tough is going to have to be slightly bigger than a more basic model. Previously I had another fold-up Fulton umbrella which they no-longer make. It was equally tough but heavier, had no hook handle, and had annoying joints that stabbed you in the head fairly regularly. This one is a definite improvement and has none of those faults. When I researched buying this one, it seemed like the cheapest available umbrella that was reliably reviewed as being durable.

Excellent item that has proven itself over the years.
This was a replacement for the same item i bought 3 years ago due to losing it. If i hadn't have lost the original, i'm sure it would have lasted much longer. While this umbrella doesn't look expensive or classy, its strong and has survived all kinds of weather including strong wind. If the wind is too strong then the item will blow inside out but pointing it against the wind it blows back again without breaking however its worth pointing out this rarely happens and can stand up to almost all winds but whats important is it never breaks and the frame is strong. Its rather small to keep you completely dry but thats the price you pay for the compact design and you can easily keep it in a small backpack and has been great for everything from commuting to traveling in tropical destinations during monsoon season. Overall an excellent buy for the price and I hope this replacement item has been made to the same quality to the original that i unfortunately lost.

Can’t close the umbrella. It just doesn’t have this feature, who knew?
