Anand traders 90mm achromat doublet lens with 700mm focal length for telescope,for making large aperture refractor

Very bad got a cracked one

The lens is wel made and the focal length is exact 700 mm .so it retains the achromatism and sharpness expected of a achromat .but one thing the lens gave pin sharp image when used with a diaphragm .but if a diaphragm was not required then the lens would be rated the highest . Overall it very worth and excellent telescope results using the same .if it was coated then the sharpness would be further enhanced .but we can't expect this at such a price it's offered. We can get it coated on our own from another agency or service provider specialising in lens coating .I appreciate Anand traders for bringing out such a great lens at very very unthinkable low price that too a large one a 900 mmt dia lens .it definitely a great asset to any astrnomer since resulting in a portable telescope with adequate magnifying power and brightness of image .
