GiGi No Bump Tropical Solution, Liquid for Hair Removal 118ml

After reading the reviews here - & being sick of having to scrub at my face every day - thought I'd give this a try. I'm really glad I did! I've only been using it about a week now, but it really seems to be working & I don't have the hassle & redness associated with daily exfoliation. I can apply it any time of day because no redness means no down-time. As others have commented, the smell is hardly to die for.........it's basically the smell of isopropyl alcohol, the main ingredient (yep, the stuff you clean your CDs with!!) But within seconds it's evaporated so there's no lingering odour. One word of warning which I don't think was clear on the listing - it can't be used if you're allergic to aspirin as it contains salicylic acid. I was worried that the combination of isopropyl alcohol and salicylic acid was going to be really brutal, but not at all. My skin feels tight for a few seconds immediately after application, but then feels smooth, comfortable and well-moisturised for the rest of the day. I haven't got particularly sensitive skin so I can't comment on how it would suit those who do, but it's certainly a lot gentler than other products I've used containing salicylic acid. A little really does go a long way, so it works out to be really good value. Instructions say to apply with fingertips or cotton wool - I use fingertips because I don't want to waste a whole load soaking into the cotton wool. Well worth a try if you're plagued with ingrowing hair........or, like me, fed up of having to exfoliate every day to avoid them.

I’m on my third bottle of this! I wanted to wait until I was sure before leaving a review. Has cleared about 95% of my red bumps and I haven’t had a single ingrown since using this on my bikini area. I use it straight after shaving and at least once every day on a cotton pad. 100% recommend

I had the perfect solution to prevent ingrown hair. Unfortunately, that is not available anymore. After researching, I decided to try this solution. I always prefer more eco-friendly solutions, like gels that do not require a cotton pad to apply the solution; they also intend to last longer. The solution is liquid that requires a cotton pad or similar to apply. GiGi No Bump Tropical Solution does not last long if used on the larger skin area. The downside of the solution is that these are ingredients with the suggestion that can affect potential pregnant women's foetus and light burn after applying the solution on a depilated sensitive area. The solution works, no ingrown hair, but I will look for something better with more comfort due to mentioned side effects and unnecessary risk.

It definitely helps but its nowhere near as effective as 'tend skin'. I still find I get razor bumps despite applying this however there would definitely be more if I applied nothing at all so its doing something. I find tend skin keeps them at bay completely so will be sticking with that.

I'm a 30 year old bloke and about 2-3 days after shaving, lots of my beard hairs start to ingrow causing unsightly red bumps which get really itchy. I initially started using tend skin solution, but it got really expensive and hard to get hold of, so I tried this as an alternative, and it works just as well. It's essentially an alcohol-based solution, then when rubbed on the beard area, strips it of the all the dead skin cells that would normally cause a beard hair to get stuck, curl up and grow inwards. I apply it morning and night and I can now go for more like 5-6 days without shaving, whereas before I would have to shave after 3-4 days due to bumps and itching. I don't recommend applying it immediately or shortly after shaving though, as it stings! Top-Tip: buy a small spray/spritz bottle and put this solution into it, and then spray it onto your affected area. It makes it last a LOT longer than just dabbing it on with a cloth or something.

I never write reviews but I had to for this product. Since I started shaving I have suffered terrible with Ingrowing hairs and shaving rash, I have tried everything until I come across this!! When I first read all the positive reviews about GiGi No Bump I was desperate to buy a bottle. My ingrown hairs are so bad that I actually cant wear any clothing that exposes my legs, I always have red bumps, sores and scars and my legs look like they've been ravaged by a horrible disease. I have tried everything, I exfoliate and moisturize, I've bought special shaving lotion for sensitive skin, I shave with the grain and spend hundreds of dollars a year on razors with my mindset being if the most expensive razors do this to my skin imagine what the cheaper razors will do. A few months ago I started buying single blade razors after seeing an episode on Dr. Oz talking about how they're better for avoiding ingrown hairs. But nothing has helped, or appeared to anyways, I even went 6 months without shaving my legs once since you know, that's what causes ingrown hairs. Well I ended up with a mess, I didn't have as many ingrown hairs but the ones I did have were way worse, and then when I did finally shave my legs again I had more than ever. To say I've been desperate would be an understatement. When I got my bottle I started using it immediately following the instructions on the bottle to a T and I don't get red bumps anymore and the sores are starting to heal. I still have scars, I never expected those to go away over night but if I'm not getting ingrown hairs like I used to I know they will fade with time. I use a generous amount on my legs every single day and I think a bottle will last me about a month. I'm very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Die No Bump Topical Solution war eine Empfehlung aus dem Freundeskreis. Da ich besonders am Hals-/Kehlkopfbereich oft mit Rasurbrand und Rasurpickeln zu kämpfen habe, musste ich dieses Produkt natürlich ausprobieren. Ohne Witz - ich bin begeistert. Ich habe die Lösung 3 Tage vor der Rasur täglich einmal mit einem Wattepad aufgetragen. Nach der Rasur habe ich es auch gleich als Aftershave verwendet. Das Ergebnis: keine Rasurpickel und nur noch marginale Rötungen. Daher spreche ich für dieses Produkt meine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung aus!
