I used this for all my silver jewellery monthly, pop it all in, leave for allocated time, pull them out, give them a brush around with an old tooth brush or paint brush, I like the dip them back in the rinse under water and dry up and polish with a cloth. Very easy to use very effective way of cleaning all my jewellery - chains, necklaces, rings, pandora rings, beads, bracelets. I like to buy a new one every 9-12 months, usually you can see all the dirt in the bottom or you may notice it starts to smell different. Alternatively you could pour it out into a tub and clean your jewellery in a smaller pot to make it last longer. It's never leaked on me - always tempt upright formuse and storage

Price/value: great Scent: great Efficiency: fantastic (cleans silver, gold and precious stones) without brushing No basket! and that’s an issue: tweezers are not of any use because the product is slippery and you just end up trying to grab the jewelry with your fingers - or hand if your hands are small enough My solution: fish out the old cleaning solution tub which came with a basket and put this solution in it

So many of the poor reviews are from buyers who didn't read the ad first. This is a cleaner, basically a detergent, for cleaning dirt and grease. It's not a tarnish remover and will not remove chemical reactions from silver i.e tarnish. That is a completely different type of cleaner. This is an expensive way of buying any household cleaner such as washing-up liquid . That would be the most cost effective way to remove the same build-up of human grease and dirt from your jewellery. This is unlikely to cause tarnish or harm anything you clean with it, it's just soap - but that's what it's being sold as, a cleaner for soiled jewellery. Like anything you buy, you need to read the ad to be sure you know what you are buying - don't blame the product because you bought the wrong item

I found the cleaner did not work so well as my last jewellery cleaner.I had to pop it in and out of solution a few times along with a good scrub.I also found it hard to retrieve jewellery from tub,the last cleaner i used had a small basket for retrieval.

I'm really sorry, but I cannot give this a good review everything about it is jusst wrong. I put in my silver rings and earrings to try most of them came out tainted, I contacted the shops where I had bought them from and they assure me the items were Silver not plated. It is impossible to get hold of the items to clean them you have to pour out the liquid into a shallow dish the design of the tweezers makes it hard to pick anything up. So basically I would think washing up liquid would probably give a better finish. I lost most of my earrings because of the tainting we have to assume there is something wrong with the product to cause this issue. And on top of all that the items still needed to be cleaned. Sorry I cannot give a good mark for this. Actually, yes the item was delivered efficiently but was leaking on arrival!

This is literally a container of liquid so take care when removing the top. There are tweezers within the liquid which were messy to retrieve and useless anyway. I used my own tweezers Simply drop any silver or gold jewellery into the liquid for a few minutes and on retrieval they can be seen to be much brighter and cleaner. A little brush is provided for the backs of stones or in between details. I found a lot of old jewellery I had kept and wow, I can use it all again. It looks like new!
