This is a brilliant piece of kit to keep in the boot. I had mine for almost a year before I needed to use it, and then I had two flat tyres within three weeks, and as luck would have it, the same tyre. My first thought was that the previous repair had failed, but it was another screw I'd gone over. I did think with having repaired the same tyre twice I really should have a new one fitted, but neither of the repairs caused any problems, and several months later it was still good...I can't compare the tools to others as this is the only kit I've used, and everything works as expected. The only tiny negative was the supplied pliers, which were tiny and looked weak, but I've always had a good pair of pliers in the boot so it really wasn't a problem. I've used this kit a few times now, helping family and neighbours out, and when you read that nearly half of all breakdowns in the UK are caused by tyre issues, it's well worth keeping one in the boot.

This is an item I hope I never have to use but I thought if I did ever need a puncture repair kit then I would need a quality one that was up to the job. This seems to be really sturdy and capable of doing the job if needed, seems like everything you may need is included. Here's hoping I never have to put it to the test. Addendum: I found an old steel belted cross ply tyre and decided to test the repair kit. I first of all drove a nail into the tyre then used the tyre repair kit as is. Then I repeated the procedure on another part of the tyre, having withdrawn the nail I drilled a 6mm hole and then used the repair kit. Thirdly I tried on another part of the tyre withdrew the nail then drilled am 8mm hole , then used the tyre kit. It worked reasonable easy on all three occasions. The most difficult part I found was threading the stick/tacky plug through the insertion tool. I can't say how effective the repair is but it looked to be good. At least I discovered that the tool can be used and you don't need the strength of Samson. I still hope I never have to use it though.

Good priduct. You need quite a bit of strength to fix the puncture and make sure you use the supplied lube. Took two attempts but sorted a leak on my land rover 90. Done over 500 miles on it now and not lost any pressure. I wouldn't recommend this type of repair as a long term fix or on a higher performance vehicle but as the landy only does about 50mph I doubt if there is too much risk!

My god what a life saver. I drive a VW Crafter about 25,000 miles a year and I can’t believe I didn’t have this sooner. Absolute life saver. It’s rather physically hard to use, you have to shove the spike in really hard to get it through with the glue strip on but once it’s done it’s done. Fixed my puncture about 5 weeks ago with the wheel still on the van and I didn’t even have to blow it back up again, and it’s not lost even 1 psi. Some others on here have said the tip snapped on the first try, they just did it wrong and shoved it in too far and broke it off against the inside of the wheel. Make sure you use it while the tyre is inflated. I know that sounds nuts but trust me. Go to a garage and blow the tyre up then fix it straight away. It takes about 3 minutes total. I won’t take this out of my van now, total life saver.

Good item saved me few times value for money

I picked up a puncture but I could not change the wheel for my spare as my wheel locking key had been wrecked by the garage that last did work on my car (nice of them to say.) I had to order a replacement key that will take 14 days to arrive. So I bought this kit to fix the puncture. I'm extremely impressed. It took me less than 5 minutes to repair the tire and now I'm back on the road. I'm very, very happy with my purchase.

I've used these tyre plug kits for many years and saved myself a small fortune in the process. The price of this kit is what you could pay for a repair at a garage and you have enough strings of rubber in this kit to last a lifetime. What else I like about this kit is you can usually repair the puncture without taking the wheel off the car. All the repairs I have done with these kits have lasted the tyres natural life and I've never lost a drop of air from any of my repairs either. If you are a keen DIY home mechanic and want to save yourself some money then I'd recommend this kit

Stanco di rimanere con le gomme a terra e guarda caso sempre nel weekend, ho deciso di ordinare questo kit di riparazione. Appena arrivato Mi sono messo subito all'opera, con l'aiuto di acqua saponata ho individuato il punto da riparare. Ma devo dire che ho approfittato per scalzare tutti i detriti che si erano incastrati sul battistrada altrimenti avrei impiegato meno tempo. Con un pennarello o tracciato il punto da riparare e con la pinza in dotazione o estratto il chiodino, dopodiché con il trivellino ho ripulito il foro ed inserito il gommino autovulcanizzante. Sono gommini appiccicosi, Infatti il mastice è già impregnato su di loro, e sono protetti da due veli di plastica trasparenti per conservarli. Ho percorso un centinaio di chilometri, e la pressione non è scesa di nulla e non mi si sono mai accese le spie per il controllo della pressione. Ora che è notte Ho la conferma che la riparazione è andata perfettamente a un buon fine Ed il Kit è valido e pratico da usare. Naturalmente a bordo ho anche un compressore a 12 Volt che mi permette di arrivare a casa ed eseguire il lavoro. Consigliatissimo AGGIORNAMENTO : sono trascorsi 3 giorni dalla riparazione e non c'è nessuna perdita. Lo pneumatico sta in pressione. Perfetto!

Ayant des pneu qui crève tout le temps ( vive duro) sur mon quad est de toujour paye 20 voir 30 euro la mèche . J'ai donc achète ce kit car j'avais le pneu creuver ( morceau de verre ) une fois reçu je le lance donc au déballage super kit ! Outils solide mèche de bonne qualité. Passons à l'étape pratique : Je vais sur mon pneu je prend l'outil qui permet d'agrandir le trou ( en forme de mèche pour perceuse ) il faut un peut force ( pour faire entre l'outil ou mettre du lubrifiant fournie moi j'en ai pas mit ) une fois le trouve agrandi je met du lubrifiant sur l'outil pour inséré la mèche ce fut la galère pour la rentré à causes lubrifiant qui me faisait glisser j'ai donc pris la pince est tiré la mèche ( elle ne sais meme pas casse alors que j'ai attraper un petit angle ) puis je lai mit dans le pneu ( la ses entre facilement ) pour fait 1/4 de tour couper avec cutter est gonflé tout fonctionne ( pour les 10 première minutes :) )j'ai mit de l'eau ça a la lair aussi de fonctionne ( pour voir si des fuite sont présente ) aucune a voir dans le temps ( demain, dans un ans deux ans ... ) si ça tien toujours Les moins de ce produit , - pas de notice en français QR code avec une vidéo par exemple - outil un peut tordu -cutter assez mauvaise qualité -emballage simple - matériaux ne tienne pas en haut comme sur la photo Les plus -produit de bonne qualité ( les outils principales ) -facile d'utilisation -beaucoup de mèche -beaucoup d'accessoires Manquerai juste ( a moins que je n'ai pas trouvé ) un kit de mèche uniquement en recharge ( il serait dommage dachetez un nouveau kit entier pour des mèches
