Royal and Langnickel Sable Super Value Brush Set (1 Pack of 10 brushes )

These had received mixed reviews so I hesitated to order them. I'm so glad I did!! I hadn't picked up a paintbrush since I was a sixth-former, but am now rediscovering the forgotten joys of sketching with water-colours. Perhaps this set won't be long-lasting (it's far too early to tell), but one thing is certain, they provide a great selection of round and flat brushes at a very fair price - ideal when one is having to recreate a basic kit from scratch. I'm very satisfied with mine!!-update- I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, and have experienced absoluely no problem whatsoever with bristle-shedding. I find them precise and a joy to work with. OK, they will probably only last a couple of months at the almost-daily use they're getting, but then, all sable brushes are, by their very nature, delicate things that need to be replaced frequently; these will still have represented excellent value! Highly recommended as components of a starter kit of essential paraphernalia.

Came in different lengths and brush widths. Mine were a burnt caramel colour with a "gold" metal rim at the join for the brush. Good choice - though 2 have been used for delicate gloss work during hose painting.Very pleased with the choice and quality of the brushes.

Good Price, fair quality but I was struggling when using the brushes as the bristles where separating.

I purchased the  Royal and Langnickel Sable Super Value Brush Set (1 Pack of 10 brushes )  to go with the  Staedtler Noris Club Watersoluble Colouring Pencils 144 10NC24 Asst Pack 24  as a starter kit for a budding artist in the family, and I have to say they are extremely good value for the money.We have had no hairs falling out, they are all well shaped and cut accurately, so I can't complain at all.I would highly recommend these brushes for good quality at great price.

This is a very inexpensive set of brushes so for the price I will say it has a very good range of sizes. I have however, owned sable brushes before and these are not very good quality. The round brushes do not get a sharp point and the brush fibres don't have the same bounce and strength that I would expect from sable brushes. Also there is a huge amount of shedding of brush fibres into my painting. I did buy these brushes thinking the price was too good to be true, if you would just like brushes to practice with or are a hobby painter then these will do the job but definately not artist quality.

I do paint so these brushes will always be useful later but in fact; right now I need sable type brushes to drip feed a litter of mice pups. All those animal fosterers out there, take note:- These brushes are very soft, with a good size selection for assorted small pups and kits. I think the brushes are reasonably priced too. The Royal and Langnickel Sables are indeed soft full brushes, allowing for more liquid uptake and a loaded brush means, less interruption when the 'small thing' has latched on.

These brushes are terrible quality. I brought them as a beginner, for watercolours, but found that after one use the bristles splayed out and didn’t hold their shape at all. They have also left a trail of hairs on the paper which completely ruins any painting. They ‘sploge’ the paint on the paper and are very difficult to control. As a beginner I almost gave up with water colours completely thinking it was just too difficult, but have now ordered a better quality set and the difference is unbelievable. I don’t like waste so these will be donated to friends’ kids to paint with, as that is pretty much all they are good for.

I am not an artist, not at all but, I wanted some nice brushes for a craft project I was working on. And I have to say these brushes are very nice. They made painting so much easier and with better results than I have had in the past with brushes of about the same cost. These sable brushes are very nice and will last me a very long time. I used them with a paint set that I also brought from the same seller.the Daler-Rowney System 3 Acrylic Paint Introduction Set and they all worked together very nicely.

I bought these as a gift for a creative friend who wants to start painting. I was satisfied with the quality and would reccomenf these to others.

Ich kaufte das Pinselset für meine Enkelkinder, die beide im Pflichtschulalter sind und gerne basteln und malen, wenn sie bei mir sind.Soweit die Pinsel zum Einsatz kamen, haben sie ein schöne Spitze gebildet und bisher keine Pinselhaare verloren.Für künstlerische Zwecke würde ich vermutlich einen hochwertigeren Marderhaarpinsel kaufen. Da die Pinsel aber den an sie gestellten Ansprüchen vollauf genügen, gebe ich die volle Punkteanzahl.

Ho regalato questi pennelli ad una persona che ha spesso a che fare con pittura acquerellata e non solo. E' stata molto felice di questo regalo perché i pennelli funzionano benissimo e non si sono ancora sfaldati dopo 5/6 utilizzi

No lo recomiendo. A los pinceles, al menos los q he usado, se les va cayendo el pelo desde el primer momento en que lo usé. No es lo q esperaba.
