Fast, powerful, lightweight, long cable, good value. My previous hairdryer was also a Tresemme and it lasted years.

Good strong air flow, and at the higher speed it's very hot, so it doesn't take long to dry your hair. My only slight criticism would be that the first setting you encounter when switching it on is a strong cold flow. This means you have to remember to switch it on before you aim it at your hair if you want the lower speed to dry hair wrapped around a brush

TRESemme 5542DU 2200 W Power DryerSold by: AmazonAfter using this hair dryer for more than two months, I can say that this is a GOOD hair dryer. Good size with a cable that is long enough. It has three air settings which can be used by sliding the slide button. Whilst it's on "0" (off) setting, push up once to have just 'normal' air. This air is not warm at FIRST. It is 'blast-full' enough. Push up again to have hot air. this air is NOT blast-full enough, which is why when you slide the button again right to the top, you have 'blast-full' hot air.It's quite easy to go from one level to another by sliding it. However, say you put moisturiser on your hands or something, then it can be a little bit tricky. However, it can still be done.As this is a 2200W, the hot air is actually quite hot. I don't really have sensitive skin but I have felt the heat on my scalp about twice (just like other reviewers have). This is why I think they should have added another button where you press and hold for 'normal' air, and then release to have the hot air.I think the noise is acceptable- it's expected with a hair dryer.The 'funnel' part (where the air comes out) gets quite hot when the hot setting is used for under 1 min. The heat on scalp and the funnel getting hot are two reasons why I continuously change from one level to another. Again, that's why a separate button for 'normal' air would've made this better. When the hot setting is used for under a minute and you switch to the normal air setting, the air becomes warm.Some users have said that the back panel (where the air is sucked in) keeps coming off. That's why I left the two stickers on (don't worry, it's not preventing air at all).It gets the job done of drying my hair- quite quick actually.If a separate button was added for cool air, and the hotness was reduced by a little bit so users don't hurt themselves by touching the funnel and/or having the dryer too close, it would've been better.- (maybe a 2000W instead)Nevertheless, I totally recommend this. Great value for money- worth the £12! Delivered well on time and packaged well. This is a very powerful hairdryer, feels like I'm stood in a wind tunnel when drying my hair!This is the great level of quality you come to expect from Tresemme. It looks very sleek and stylish and feels very good quality. It has a great balance when holding it and is easy to manoeuvreIt comes with 3 settings. A cool setting and 2 heat settings. The heat settings are well balanced and don't burn or singe my hair when dryingThis is portable, it can be plugged in to any standard plug socket, in any room of the house, perfect flexibilityOverall this is a great hairdryer and I would give it a double thumbs up 👍

It’s a good hairdryer at a very reasonable price. I liked the long cord and it has several heat settings. Does a good job!
