I was recommended these by a friend whose dog had the same trouble. Still early days so hard to give a proper review. They are certainly very palatable & my pug is taking them well. She's still doing a bit of scooting but definitely not as smelly!

My Cavalier King Charles suffers with Pica. He swallowed a whole cat collar at 9 weeks, followed over time, with tennis balls, Victoria plum stone. He prefers anything inappropriate rather than food. He is now five and has been on a gastro intestinal food along with fibre supplement. Despite this he has regular tummy problems and flare ups with constipation and poor digestion. Recently he was very constipated so thought I would try these. Omg what a difference , for the first time in 5 years, he is going to poo regularly and dog owners will forgive the description but his poos are for the first time as they should be, perfect. I know this product is expensive, but it really does work. Much cheaper than visits to the vets. He has cost some £9000.00 pounds over these last 5 years, with operations, and vet care, fortunately he is insured! I would recommend this product if your pooch has similar problems.

Didn't really see much of a difference...

I purchased this product back in January after an emergency visit to the vet as my poor 3 yr old Cavapoo Teddy would not stand up on his back legs only to find he had blocked anal glands which he's never suffered from before. After paying nearly £60 for the vet I decided to look up to find something that would stop this happening again and found Glandex. My Teddy has been on this every day since 28th jan and so far no problems whatsoever apart from it not being in stock. These are soft peanut butter flavour chunks which can either be given as a treat or crumbled up on food. I haven't really noticed a smell. I will definitely keep giving this product to my Teddy Bear so please restock this product asap Amazon .

Ich war zuerst sehr skeptisch, ob ein bisschen "Pumpkin" und "apple pectin powder" die Analdrüsenprobleme meines Hundes lösen sollen... wurde aber positiv überrascht. Angefangen hatte ich im Juli mit den Kautabletten - jeden Tag morgens zusammen mit dem Hauptfutter bzw. mittags als Leckerlie zwischendurch. Da die Packung aber für nur etwa einen Monat reicht und man in dieser kurzen Zeit keine richtige Beurteilung abgeben kann, habe ich anschließend das Pulver bestellt, was viel länger hält, da ich bei meinem 10 kg-Mix nur etwa 1/4 Teelöffel dem Futter beimische. Ich kann nun, nach etwa 4 Monaten täglichem zufüttern, sagen, dass es wirklich hilft! Die Symptome (permanentes belecken und rutschen) sind schon nach etwa 2 Monaten deutlich besser geworden. Mittlerweile würde ich sogar sagen, dass sie überhaupt nicht mehr auftreten. Doch wie das leider oft so bei (pflanzlichen) Tierarznei-Produkten ist: es ist von Hund zu Hund unterschiedlich ob es Wirkung zeigt oder nicht... daher einfach selbst testen! Bei meinem Hund funktioniert es wunderbar.
