I purchased the Shiny Leaf DHT Pro Shampoo several months ago to address hair loss related to a course of prescribed steroid medication and other toxicants; this was after losing an astonishing one-third of my hair ---not fun and seemingly hopeless, given post-menopausal status. Within a few days, I noticed a dramatic decrease in hair shedding, which motivated me to stick with this brand and start using the conditioner as well. Whether I use one or both products, my hair is consistently soft, silky, and no longer dried out. Like other reviewers, I'm not necessarily a fan of caramel odors, but there are other notes to the scent that add a refreshing quality, on which I choose to focus, to give the products a chance of working. I have not been to a hair salon to have my hair professionally done since COVID began, so I have no verification of new hair growth; but after 3 months of use of one or both products, it feels a bit less "drafty" (shall we say) with a little more volume, so I'm hoping that means new hair is actually growing in. I will add to my review, once I get back to a salon, in a more post-COVID world. Either way, these products are definitely working for me! As a caveat for other customers, supplementation with hair-supporting nutrients is also important to create the best conditions to block DHT and support hair follicles for new hair growth. Amazon has a helpful array of these kinds of supplements, as well.

This condition works well. It makes my hair soft, and my girlfriends as well. My girlfriend has hair past her butt, so she uses a lot of conditioner. So, if you use a lot of conditioner like her, then you may get 5-6 uses out of it.

Not sure if it helps, but I just couldn’t get over the smell of this one. I think it smells very masculine and woodsy, and I am female. I could’ve endured it if I felt it was maki g a big difference, but I couldn’t tell whether it was helping or not, so I got rid of it. I did like their original dht-blocker conditioner.

This conditioner works great on detangling and moisturizing but don’t use too much. Just a small amount goes a long way. It’s the best I’ve tried for smooth detailed hair. I’m hoping it will help with hair loss as well.

I've been using it about a month and like it. I do notice a difference.

I cannot stand the smell. Very musky. Didn’t see much that it does either.
