Adjustability:Going into a surgery like this is had to take into consideration how easy or how difficult this would be to adjust. It's great. Easy to adjust, tick enough to protect the area and very comfortable. I highly recommend this mastectomy pillow.

i have just rec’d this pillow, so i don’t know yet how it will work in practice- but i do know, after trying it on & adjusting it that i am very relieved to have it on hand. i will be having a double mastectomy, & need something for added comfort, & to protect my new sutures from my small active pooch.i believe this will be a very important part of the healing process for me.i also rec’d the seatbelt cushion & the pocket that holds the drain bottles for showering. i know these will come in super handy.The pillow & seatbelt cushion are both so very soft- & they are machine washable! The pillow is particularly cushy & very light. i wear a 1X & there is plenty of leeway for adjustment.

This was a game changer it helped friend with the discomfort after a mastectomy. I was pleased to hear from her and his much and enjoy it as it brings her much needed comfort.

It’s very soft and adjustable, but I highly recommend getting a helper to adjust the straps for you. The pouch on the inside is the perfect shape and placement for an ice pack over your incisions. I ordered this due to having gone through top surgery, but the package did come with inspirational words for, I can only presume, people battling breast cancer. It was a nice touch, even if I wasn’t the intended recipient So far the pillow seems decently sturdy, and I like the front pocket to hold phones and wallets and such. I ordered mine in this pinkish purple lilac-y color, and while the color was not my reason for choosing the one I ordered, it is a delightful color and it’s so soft too. My one main issue is that I had for overnight shipping at about 4pm on Thursday, then at 11:54pm on Friday I get a notification that it shipped, very clearly no longer an overnight purchase. However, the wait was worth it as I’m crawled back into bed with my ice pack and my drains protected. Haven’t yet used the seatbelt cover or shower back, but they’re both seeming to be made from decent quality materials, with the seat belt cover matching the pillow itself.The pillow did arrive with a small tear in the stitching near the armpit.

Purchased for my mom after her double mastectomy.She loved it helped her sleep worked great in the car as well! Great gift for someone going through breast cancer!

My young friend had a single side mastectomy a d said that.these items were VERY practical,.comfortable and helpful.

I cannot recommend this enough. I’m currently in the middle of post-surgery recovery and it has become my favorite thing.

A few days ago, had to have my breast reconstruction reversed (a bit like having a mastectomy all over again) & as functionality goes this product has been a lifesaving game changer. If only the quality of it was as fantastic as the design.It DOES do an amazing job with not only protecting my incisions from any kind of bumping or nudging from things like my car seatbelt or my cat, but also as a great reminder to hug the pillow to my chest when I stand & to not move in ways I'm not medically cleared to yet (such as pushing or pulling my weight with my arms). Plus it's extremely comfortable & the pockets on both sides are ideal for securing a cool pack in the inner pocket to soothe incision discomfort while tucking my cell phone or a small book into the exterior pocket.In all honesty, if I could grade it on design alone it would be 5 stars without question.... Unfortunately, sloppy assembly at the factory drags my rating of it down in the "quality" department.I've only been using the product for 2 days since discharge from the hospital but the seams are already unraveling & exposing the stuffing. Additional, the right side shoulder strap was threaded incorrectly through the clip-in buckle, which has been leading to it not remaining snuggly adjusted on that side... Luckily I'm pretty decent at sewing so the unraveling seam at least I can repair without too much difficulty, but with well below a week of use I SHOULDN'T NEED to be stitching it back together a product that's job is supposed to be helping keep ME stitched together. The strap I can probably fix as well but it will mean spending an afternoon with a seam ripper before I'll even be able thread it correctly through the buckle snap.Like I said, the design is phenomenal but I very much wish the craftsmanship was nearly as good. While I not only love the product overall but also NEED it, it's extremely frustrating having to repair a product that should have been assembled correctly & quality inspected to begin with.
