BSNNutrition Amino X Supplement with Vitamin D, Vitamin B6 and Amino Acids, Fruit Punch Flavour, 30 Servings, 435 g

Decided to subscribe with my latest order of the fruit punch Amino x as I really do rate this product and notice the difference if I workout without using it. I'm really really happy with the results I'm seeing and this is the only supplement I take apart from vitamins.I use this for both cardio and weight training, I take it 15 mins before working out, drink only water during and then take this again post workout. I prefer to do cardio/HIIT workouts in a fasted state, the Amino x gives me the energy to push much harder and complete longer workouts which has meant my fitness levels have increased nicely (today I did 25 mins HIIT followed by 1 hour Les Mills body pump plus 10 mins of (fairly heavy) weight training & plenty more energy left in reserves, whereas 5 months ago I struggled to finish just 20 mins HIIT).With weight training I can lift a fair bit more, for instance I can shift an extra 20kg when squatting. It isn't a placebo effect either. One workout I honestly thought I had drunk the Amino x before heading out the door, got to the gym and couldn't shift my usual squat weight at all, I didn't understand what was going on until I got home and the drink was still sitting in the kitchen. Now I never forget!The fruit punch tastes really nice, the powder itself tastes like dip-dabs sherbet! I make it weaker than instructed as it is very sweet tasting (and I do have a sweet tooth!), so if trying this for the first time I would recommend using less powder or more water (I use less powder, about half to 3/4 of a scoop depending on what workout I'm doing. It still gives me the energy I need and the tub lasts longer.) I haven't tried any of the other flavours to comment on those.In conclusion, I'm aware I would have naturally progressed over 5 months training regardless (only consistent in last 2 months) but I'm certain the progression is more significant than it would have been without the Amino X.

I have been using BSN for years now and the AminoX is one of the main products i invest in. The grape flavour is amazing to say the least but the Unflavored is not so unflavored if you know what I mean. always mix with something that has a flavour already never take it straight. It is insanely sour. I am a person who loves feeling sore the next day after a workout, but AminoX helps my recovery so I retain my confidence in the gym then next day.

I love this product and I will keep taking it. The taste is amazing and it dissolves easily and packs a load of amino acids. The only "drawback" which is a potential disaster if you don't know is that unlike most amino acid powders, this one is effervescent when you mix it with water. So if you pack your shaker filled with water, add the powder, and then mix vigorously (as we mostly do) you will get the lid popping up due to loads of air pressure build up - so beware.

Great packaging, fast delivery and good service. I highly recommend the Amino-X product as it has decreased recovery time for me immediately! It tastes great and is easy to mix alone or with protein. The only thing I would prefer is less artificial colourings - the Americans go crazy with the colour. The drink is literally neon orange and stains everything it touches (don't drink this if you've bleached your teeth) including skin, teeth and containers. It doesn't need to be this bright.

This product is not to the quality it used to be and I’m very disappointed - when I mix with water it leaves lots of salts at the tumbler - I would say this is fake compared to previous purchases

All family likes!I got the fruit punch and the flavour is amazing! Also, finally I found a protein supplement that all the family likes, husband and daughter, which is important as we are all very active and exercise! Is also very refreshing and enjoyable to drink, needs to be with cold water though! Bought the 435g few days ago and because has been shared by 3 people is almost running low so won't take too long to try the other flavours which I am looking forward.

Taste is ok, a little sweet being an american product but good nutritional values, the only thing that ruins it for me is the mixability. It's an effervescent powder which means if you put it in a shaker or bottle and shake to mix you'll quickly end up with a foamy mess, simply pouring into a water in a glass and using a spoon doesn't really work either - the best option is to put into a bottle first, then add water, leave the bottle open to allow the gas to escape and then give it a little shake after a few minutes to finish mixing. Good product, poor execution.

My personal trainer suggested I get this so that I can replenish my body during intensive work outs. Well I eventually got it and have been using it at the gym for several months now. What a difference it has made to my energy levels! It tastes a bit sweet so I make sure it is well watered down but it replaces the amino's I lose during my hour work out. Great performance.
