Great 2nd screen for streamer. Not a bad budget monitor
For it's price it's a good screen. This was bought as 2nd screen and does that job perfect. As a primary screen it's viewing angles to the sides are ok but a bit narrow on the vertical. Colour and contrast are a little washed BUT I'm sitting here with a 28" 4K Samsung right next to it which is a bit unfair. Just bare in mind it's sub £100 budget. Don't expect to much from it.For average household/small office use it'll do the job just fine. For gamers, just be aware that if you play a lot of games with dark or low light scenes you'll struggle with the contrast.

Amazing monitor with everything you need
Pros:• This monitor is ideal if you know you're going to be moving around a lot, it's box and packaging make it super easy to disassemble and move transport. I have been carrying around for the past 3-4 years and it still is one of my favourite screens I've ever had.• The speakers for monitor speakers are just amazing, you can tell they have not just been slapped on. There was thought that went into making them sound good and create a good soundscape• Lasts a long time (still in use as the secondary monitor)Cons:• Controls aren't amazing - not labelled and slightly unintuitive (took me two years to work out there's a volume control)• Not adjustable except for screen tilt up and down.• Side viewing means that the colours disappear so is only really meant for one person to look at.• Not 144Hz (although I have a 144Hz monitor and don't see what all the fuss is about)Altogether great monitor!

Good value monitor
Good value monitor. I wasn't expecting spectacular sound for listening enjoyment, but it's ok, and it has helped de-clutter my desk. The picture is a little disappointing. Next to a pretty old basic spec monitor, it's nothing like as bright and the blacks are pretty grey, rather like looking at the screen through a foggy day. Having played with the settings to get the best compromise I can find, it's ok for general monitor use.The stand is nicely solid for a cheap monitor though, and I didn't have any problems with set up or using the controls.

Great for gaming
This is really good for the price. I bought for use in my home office but with a secondary function of gaming. Specifically, playing SNES mini, Neo Geo Arcade stick pro etc as they all output HDMI.The picture is really good out of the box and even better with a few small changes. Also, not sure what other reviewers are talking about but this DOES have speakers. They aren’t fantastic but for gaming they’re fine. The menu is also not difficult to navigate; you just need to spend a few moments cycling through. It comes (in the UK) with both a three pin UK plug, a two pin EU plug, speaker cable and a VGA cable. If you want to plug into something that inputs a picture and sound you will need an HDMI cable!

Quality Sturdy monitor
I already owned an ASUS VS278 monitor which is fantastic and so when I needed a second (but smaller) monitor I had no hesitation in choosing ASUS again. Side by side I could see this monitor looked a little washed out compared to my VS278. However looking at the monitor settings I saw the blue light filter setting was set to level3 when I changed it to Level0 the monitors looked identical in colour and quality. One thing I like with both monitors is the sturdy stable base which easily allows you to tilt the monitor. Some cheaper quality monitors are either unstable or just can't tilt. Some people have mentioned the fiddly buttons underneath the monitor - they are perfectly fine, easy to feel with your finger and out of site. The sound quality of the speakers is fine for a monitor. Overall excellent value for money.

Well worth a buy
So I bought this monitor for my gaming setup and I wasn't too sure what to expect. I've had some bad experiences in the past so I was hoping that I hadn't wasted my money. So a few days later the monitor arrived, earlier then what I expected the box that the monitor came in was very well wrapped and well protected it took me about 5 minutes if that to set it up and I was very pleased the picture was very clear the speaker was louder then what I expected as I read some reviews some comments said that it wasn't that loud but that wasn't the case, All in all, I gave this product a 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend to anyone wanting a budget monitorProsClear pictureDecent speakersvery good for consoles and computersPrice compared to some monitorsConsNon!

Really good for gaming
I'm not a gamer, but my 12 year old is, and a very picky one he is too. Apparently, this screen is perfect for use with his Xbox One S and he really likes it - or rather, he hasn't complained about it once so it really must be great. Not much else to say other than that - the picture quality is great, the build quality is great too (as we'd expect from Asus), and it has a study base so isn't likely to fall over. The latter is particularly important in our house given that the 12 year old gamer also has ASD and is prone to wriggle a lot so he has already killed one screen, less than a week after it was bought, by catching the desk with his knee mid-wriggle and catapulting it onto the floor. We have had this Asus screen since Christmas and it hasn't fallen over once :)

Decent monitor, but...
The image is quite good considering the price. The sound is not excellent, but good enough if you don't have an alternative for sound. My only complain about it is the viewing angle, which is terrible, got to adjust the inclination all the time, since I don't sit at a single angle for too long.
