Changed foam since 2017
I have 13 flatcoated retrievers and they come intot he house in shifts. I bought 2 of these beds in 2017 and the dogs rush in to get on them first, they were a lovely soft memory foam. The covers have lasted until now but are a bit threadbare now. They are supposed to be waterproof but are not completely. Roll forwards 2 years and I wanted another bed for the utility room so ordered one of these, it's gone up about £4 since then I think, on arrival it is a completely different type of foam, i suspect allot cheaper, much lighter and moulds to the body much less. The dogs re ok with it but they def don't like it as much as the other two. I ordered two waterproof covers for the replacement bed and one of the others and also a new cover for one that has gone a bit thin, I am about to order another for the other bed now I have seen it (couldn't get a plain black so I wanted to see how offensive the check was first. All in all it's a good bed but definitely changed in quality.

Not for dogs that dig.
The dog bed arrived swiftly, which was much to my surprise, as it was ordered during the Christmas period. Opening the parcel up, I was pleased to see that the bed was a perfect fit for the dog's snug and the foam as well as the cover seemed to be of a good quality. However, within a month of it first being used, a large tear has appeared along one of the seams; resulting in finding massacred foam most mornings. One of our dogs has an annoying habit of digging the bed during the night (she's a creature of comfort) Therefore, we have our culprit. Nevertheless, despite this bed being a cheaper alternative to others available, I would still expect the fabric of the cover to be more durable seeing as it's purpose is for dogs who have CLAWS. The concept of the bed is great, relieving the pressure ageing dogs feel on their joints but there is definitely some design flaws that need addressing.I would not recommend this to any owners of dogs who dig but if your dog sleeps peacefully, it would be perfect.

Not the best. Not the worst.
This dog bed is just ok. I would highly recommend putting a blanket over it because it is an absolute fur trap! You can easily wash the blanket at least. I tried this with two dogs. The first dog (greyhound) thought it was ok. If he couldn't have the couch then he would settle for this bed. The second dog (lab/shepherd mix) really hates it. She prefers the floor to this bed. She is a rescue dog and this bed makes a plastic sounding noise if she steps on it so she avoids it. The return policy is fair, but strict. If the seller finds any pet hair on the product then they will refuse your refund. That is fair because no one wants to buy a dog bed that has fur on it already! On the other hand, it's a tad strict because I might have just laid the bed on the floor and my dog hated it but the bed still picked up fur from the floor. So instead of returning it in the early days I just kept it, but I really wish I had sent it back.

deep foam bed
I purchased this bed due to my dog having hip problems and limping, After only 2 nights he was walking much better, it may be due to him not lying so close to the floor and being in draughts, as the foam is very solid and high a true 10cm which does not give under his weight, or it may be due to him having a softer surface to sleep. He is a large rough collie and the large size bed is more than adequate, for him to stretch out. I would recommend this bed, although the covering is not in my opinion of a material that would stand up to rough handling. My dog has a dog rug on top of the bed so this is not an issue, I would imagine the top covering is water proof although this is something which I have not tested. My dog if he had thumbs would give it a thumbs up :)

My Chocolate lab loves it!
We have an elderly chocolate lab (12.5) and she is getting arthritic and pretty sore in her rear legs. We were putting her in kennels over Christmas for a few days and wanted a better padded bed for her (and her black lab companion), as the concrete is not like the carpet at home!. Looked around and came across this. This is basically a foam inner, with a waterproof covering over it, and then a soft washable cover over that. Ideal for kennels as you do not need to wash to the whole thing after use, only the soft cover. We bought it before she went in to trial it, and she took to it well. Both of our labs got on it at once, but I think only one could really use it fully stretched out (we have another bed for the black one). The kennel owner said our chocolate used it most days and it is much better than the thin ones we have used in the past. Very pleased with this, and I think it will last. OK, It is only foam and a cover, but a good price and the quality is very good, and it makes a comfortable bed for my ageing dog.

lovely large dog bed.
This bed is very big & my dog who has arthritis can stretch out and keep his sore legs uncurled. My dog loved his other bed because it had a rim around the top so he used to rest his head on it,but now I have given him a pillar to rest his head on as he is missing the rim.The material is so soft and warm.It does let you take the cover off to wash it .It does collect the dog hair as its fluffy but it does hoover off quite well.the other thing is to begin with it sounded so noisy with the waterproof material inside but now my dog has got used to it he does not move around so much. This bed also needs a large area to put it so think about the size and space before you order it,I cannot find fault at all

Very big but a very happy dog.
Ordered one of these for my golden retriever and as he loves it so much I've just ordered another one. It is really big, and I mean big, taking up a lot of floor space but Alfie likes to completely spread out when he sleeps so works very well for him. Its also quite firm but Alfie is sleeping better and isn't so restless at night anymore.I have given it a 4* because the cover is ridiculously thin for a dog bed but I have just put Alfie's fleecy blanket over the bed and that works. It is also noisy when he moves about but we've both got used to the noise now. Overall happy with the bed, like I said, I've bought 2 so I must be.
