Awesome boost pedal.
Great value, versatile boost pedal.Fatten up single coils, mid boost, EQ cut/boost,Clean boost, gain boost, works awesome with a tube amp. Can Make everything sound subtly better, or capable of big tone shaping. This is my second time buying one, accidentally used a wrong power voltage with my original one.

Really great pedal
This pedal has finally given me the guitar sound I want. Recommend it for its fullness of sound giving body, depth, gain and distortion if required, with great build quality.

Superb boost pedal
In my opinion this is an astonishingly good boost pedal. The range of boost is perfect for anything from adding some oomph to low output pickups, to driving your amp into a clipped, slightly broken overdrive that is natural feeling / sounding in nature. The voicing switch offers three immediately usable variations of musical value. Noise introduction is as minimal as I think a booster can achieve. Also, at higher boost settings, the musical distortion effect is super clear ... it doesn't muddy your sound at all. As a front end to an amp's clean channel set to really clean, you can comfortably use this as an extra 'channel' for anything from slightly broken cleans through to a LOW distortion blues sound. At lower boost levels it serves to give my pickups more bite meaning I can enjoy low output single-coil strat sounds, but turn the boost on to saturate a distortion channel more like a high output pickup. (I've used this with single coils and humbuckers).

Spark Boost
A high end pedal at this price?TC Electronic dont make bad pedals. The range of 'boost' you get from this pedal out performs a lot of higher end pedals that are a lot more expensive. The switch gives you the option of a dirty boost which boosts the bass or a clean boost. My personal fave is the mid boost. It just sounds so good. The mini version of this is also terrific if you want a smaller footprint and it also has an option where if you leave your foot on the pedal for less than 2 seconds it turns off automatically. (I think that's how it works but that's what youtube is for 😁).

Great clean boost.
Great clean and affordable boost pedal. Don't spend more on high priced pedals for your pedal board.

The pedal I should have bought years ago
Of all the pedals I have or have had this is the one I wished I'd bought years ago,it does so many different jobs on the board I'm running now whether that's as a clean boost, adding either a small amount of extra gain or huge dollops of it to saturate the valves to near melting point,to then gently adding or subtracting high or low frequencies I can just about make any tone I need without the need for extra pedals,I'd always thought that boost pedals were a waste of pedalboard space, why not just use the volume and tone pots on my guitar,or using an eq pedal, which I had tried but was never happy with,I now know I was completely misunderstanding the amount of change that this little box of wonders could magic up,on top of all that it's built like a tank, has good weight to it and finished superbly.

Great Boost pedal, its like an extra channel on your amp!
I bought the TC Electronic Spark Booster to use as a boost in the effects loop of my Fender amp, to give a bit of a lift for solos etc and it has done the job very well. By adding this pedal in the effects loop it is like adding an extra channel to the amp. The amp has two channels, one clean and one drive channel, both channels are good but if you are looking for a little lift in the sound for a solo for example, you either run the guitar volume back a bit which loses a little life in the sound, especially when using the drive channel, or run a pedal in front of the amp to boost the signal, this will also drive the pre amp harder mudding up the sound and I wouldn't recommend that,By using the Spark Booster in the effects loop you bypass the pre amp and do not influence the pre amp sound, I have used this now for a while with no problems to the Power amp tubes. My settings for the boost is level at 50% grain at 10-20 % and the toggle switch in the MID boost position. All in all the Spark Booster is a great addition to my equipment, If it was lost or stolen I would buy another one, maybe even the Spark Mini Booster with its Prime time feature would be a consideration.
