Manhattan Toy Wimmer-Ferguson Mind-Shapes Multi-Sensory Soft Activity Shape Set

I bought this for my then 2-week old baby and at 9 weeks he is still engaged with this mobile. It is such an incredibly simple design and very simply made, but it holds his attention in his carry cot when waking or trying to self-soothe during day-time naps. We always take it along too when out for lunch or on slightly longer car journeys as it can attach easily to the car seat handle. I would love to ask the company making these to please make one that moves automatically as my little one loves it, particularly when I spin it and he can see all the moving shapes and patterns. For the price I don't think you will find a nicer mobile for a newborn and young infant. Great!

My baby girl just started to get a better focus so we bought her this toy to settle her in the car. She is one big unhappy baby when it comes to a ride in the car.As soon as her eyes made contact with it she felt in love.The toy keeps her busy for couple of minutes( she gets tired quickly due to her small age-9 weeks) which gives me some quiet time while driving.Such a well thought toy with all its different small patterns, vibrant colours and the ear catching sound ( she seems to enjoy the sound the toy makes when I squeeze it for her).Thanks to this lovely toy my driving is much more relaxed and my baby girl seems to enjoy our rides rather than crying her eyes out.I will definitely buy more products from now on.thank you very much for actually thinking of our babies needs

My little girl is 11 weeks and would get restless quickly in her pushchair, car seat and moses basket. I saw this and going off the reviews decided to try it. Can honestly say it's been my best baby purchase so far, wish I had bought it sooner, and had one when I had my other kids! Love that it can be quickly clipped onto anything and touch wood, so far she loves it. I have no connection with this company, I just wanted to share incase it could help someone else. My little girl is mesmerised by it and really helps her settle in the car etc.

Nice idea got a few moments peace and quiet from it. Cards to tend to drop out every now and again but the little fella just had something to play with when it did.

I gave one of these to my baby grandchild. It is small and light enough for a young baby to hold, and it has that intriguing crinkly texture and noise which babies love! The black and white design is good for very young babies. . The baby's mother was very pleased with it too!

The theory behind this is that young babies are stimulated, but not over-stimulated by black and white images. This is a clip on mobile which can be put on car seat or pram or even added to another toy - bouncy chair or baby gym.The images help the baby to zone out to the background noise and allow them to focus on that image.We had a mobile of this and a display chart thing in the car. Both were utterly amazing, we found our small baby quickly could become very over-stimulated and then couldn't settle to sleep as she had information overload, she then cried so much she got windy and it was a horrible vicious circle. The black and white images really really helped her to settle. I have bought this as a gift for someone. I hope by giving it I am not only giving a useful item, but also giving the gift of more sleep for the parents!!!

So pleased I got this she’s literally mesmerised by it and helps to keep her settled whilst she’s in the push chair Yey!!

This is my favourite baby mobile for a newborn. The simple black and white and primary colours are ideal for a newborn's vision. The clip means you can clip it on the infant car seat handle or pram hood to give them something to look at while on the move. Both of my babies spent ages looking at this when they were small. It's super lightweight and takes up no space to store between babies. I liked this so much that I have also bought several for friends' babies. Very highly recommended.

This has been a lifesaver when I can’t be in the back seat with baby. The second I put it on her car seat, she is captivated and it keeps her attention for 15-20 minutes which is perfect for any close city driving. So glad I stumbled upon this and got it. Very worth it!

My two month old baby loves this cube! He loves looking at it and now that he can grab things, he'll get a hold of it and play with it for a long time!

My baby loved these cubes. They're a great size and they're soft and easy for small hands to hold. He still likes playing with them now that he's a bit older.

Generally I am glad I discovered this brand, I wish I had noticed it earlier with my 1st child. I love the different noises that each shape makes, the pictures and images the quality of the product itself,vibrant colors, texture. I like the fact that they are useful at later age as well, my 2y old likes to hold the ball or sphere, the Pyramid and the cube. I am teaching her based on those 3pieces. Can’t wait for the new baby to start experiencing them herself.
