I suddenly find my wardrobe has several garments in it that are either quite fine material or a bit fiddly to iron properly, and I knew a steamer was the way forward having used a friends professional version. I read the other reviews and decided to give this one a go - bloomin marvellous! Great value for money, did one dress and two tops on one fill, easy to use, did spit a few times but didn’t leave a mark on the clothing, the garments look professionally pressed, I am very pleased. It comes with a travel bag and given it’s reasonable size I will definitely be taking this away with me instead of the old travel iron. Admittedly haven’t tried it on hubbys shirts yet, or any trousers but it has impressed me in terms of the main reason I bought it. Clearly says you can’t put anything else in the water chamber except water (for those who have asked if you can use fabric fragrances in it), compact unit, easy to use, lightweight, I am delighted!

Pretty happy with this steamer, it is compact but - as it says - gives full size steam power. Takes a bit of practice to steam without burning your hands, but once you have the knack this seems pretty efficient. I use this to deal with the odd item of clothing when I can't be bothered to get the iron and ironing board out. I have also steamed a pair of curtains whose creases simply refused to drop out - great results with this little fella! Heats up quickly - only complaint is that it runs out quickly and needs refilling, but I guess that to be anticipated with the compact size.

First of all I’ve never owned a steamer like this before, so I have nothing to compare it to. We do have a Shark multipurpose steamer, but that wasn’t any use to me because it’s too heavy and cumbersome to transport when added to other equipment I need take with me. I bought this as an experiment to remove creases out of a 3 meter x 5 meter photography backdrop, where even the slightest crease shows up and very difficult to remove in editing. This isn’t an exaggeration when I say it usually takes about 3 hours to iron it and it is then an ongoing battle to try and stop it creasing again. This was by far the worst part and I was only ironing on a domestic ironing board and 3 x 5 meters is heck of a lot of material to fight with. So I thought I’d follow a tip I once read about using steamers. The first time I used it everything got wet through, so I thought I’d break the habit of a lifetime and actually read the instructions before either sending it back or towards the bin. The first attempt I over filled it and was trying to "iron" with the area the steam comes out of, so I went for take 2.Wow! A totally different experience. You must keep the steamer upright and just go in up and down directions and it’s the steam that removes creases not ironing the item with the steamer. Very gently, and I mean gently pull the material as you steam it, your not pulling the creases out of the material as such but pulling it to let the steam get into the creases so they fall out. It took about 20 minutes to do the entire linen backdrop and without a crease in sight and no new ones appearing through having to fold it.As I say this was my first experience, and other steamers may no be as good, but I’m sure there won’t be better at this price. It’s extremely efficient (when you read the instructions) and if you’re another photographer with linen backgrounds I’d certainly recommend it FOR LINEN as I can’t say how it would react to the man made fibre backdrops you often get in kits. As for me? I might read some instructions again in the future after such a positive experience, but there again...

I just returned from a three day trip and took this along to 'road test' it. It is very small and light and comes with a handy carry bag. It operates rather like a kettle - you fill it with water, let if boil and it steams very robustly. You need to keep it upright, which means clothes really need to be hanging up to be effective. I did drape a pair of trousers over the back of a tall chair and that worked very well. It is very powerful, and removes creases from cotton and wool within seconds. It steams for about 10 minutes - which when travelling is really all I need. The power cord is very long, helpful in a hotel room where the location of plugs is not always ideal!

SO I did a lot of research on steamers and this was rated very highly. Im not saying this didn't meet those reviews but it didn't meet MY expectations.Firstly the size of the tank is small, Yes I know it is a travel version but even so it is tiny. - The steam is enough to do 1 shirt or one jacket after this you need to refill as you can't let it run down to empty.Secondly the exterior gets quite warm (Yes I know it reaches over 100degC) but when your using it for any length of time you start to feel it on your knucklesThirdly it is extremely efficient it does what it needs to do and steams out wrinkles but if you have a heavily wrinkled item there isn't enough continuous pressure to remove so an alternative is needed.All in all a great handy product but it didn't meet my needs or expectations.

This item was highly recommended to me by a friend for convenient use while travelling.The price is excellent especially in comparison to other brands. Delivery was fast andthe steamer arrived well packaged. Set up the steamer at home to try it out and wasimpressed with it's simple operation, fast heat up and strength of the steam provided.I used it on a very wrinkled linen shirt and the results were excellent - I am more thanpleased. Now I am highly recommending it to anyone looking for a travel steamer -look no further !
