Tea Joy
This is a wonderful way to enjoy a variety of good teas, in this case from Darjeeling - my own particular favourite. The range of seasons colours and flavours has been a revelation. I use an infuser, two cup teapot - an excellent way to test these samples. The teas are clear with distinct colours and flavours.I have not yet decided on my favourites, but it is fun finding out. I believe that I will probably choose at least 4, to suit the weather, time of day, and what I fancy at the time.A quality product, educational, enlughtening and great fun.

Perfect gift for a "nervous" tea lover
My partner loves tea but any ventures into trying real tea leaves tended to falter when a full packet of tea was wasted as she hadn't liked it.... the tea sampler has meant she is trying a variety of different teas and will buy full packets in the confidence she will like them 👍 perfect gift for a "nervous" tea lover 😊

Vahdam Assorted Green Tea Sampler - nice quality although mild flavours
I do like green tea and especially a flavoured variety. The teas generally available in tea bags are not up to my taste although I do buy them because there is no local alternative. I was therefore interested in trying this sampler back as a good way of testing different flavours of teas before settling on a couple to buy a full supply of.The packaging is very attractive and the 10 packets of different teas are fully labelled with pictures and are tightly sealed. You need to cut off the top before you can open the packs (and don't forget to reseal them).I put the teas in order of how I wanted to taste them, even bought a new small glass mug just for these teas, and have had one different cup each day.The quality of the teas is great. You need a full teaspoonful for a cup, about 1 1/2 for a small mug and easily 2 tea spoonfulls for a mug. You will also need to buy a "strainer" that you put the tea leaves in and then immerse that in your cup/mug.I have a largish strainer and I was surprised how much the tea leaves expanded - some of them totally filled the strainer! To make, use freshly boiled water and allow to "brew" for a good 3-4 minutes. I found the brewing time needed to be 4-5 minutes in the small mug I bought. The colour of the teas was good, none were too dark, and the aroma was acceptable but quite mild. The taste test was the most important - obviously allowing the beverage to cool somewhat because these teas are made without milk and stay very hot for a good few minutes after brewing. Don't try drinking straight away, there would be a danger of scalding your mouth! Although for experienced green tea drinkers, they will know it is wise to wait.Every tea looked different, some having a mixture of small leaves, others with very long leaves, one (green Chai) is more of a powder so make sure your strainer has a very fine mesh. The seller gives an approximate number of cups you can make per packet but, obviously, that will depend on how much tea you use per cup.Aroma - there was a slightly different aroma with each packet. However, I did find that all the teas apart from the one "sweet" version tasted very similar. I don't take sugar and so the sweet version really did taste extra sweet to me, but still pleasant.I will say that I was a little disappointed there was not the variety of flavours on the tongue that I'd hoped for and none of the teas had a strong taste to them, even allowing for a longer brewing time. Aside from that one sweet tea, they were all quite mild tasting, refreshing but not as full of flavour as I would have liked. That being said, I did enjoy each of them and will continue to use the packets until they are all gone.Jasmine green tea is my favourite but is rarely seen other than in an extra mild version made by a well-known tea manufacturer, so it was a shame there was no jasmine in this collection. As a sampler, I didn't find it useful at all because I would be satisfied with buying a supply of any of these teas (other than the extra sweet one) to use for myself knowing I would get a quality cup of green tea made with quality, fresh ingredients - which is the important part. Had these been given a far stronger flavour, I would certainly have left 5 stars - but I should like to point out this review is based solely upon my own taste buds and my experience of drinking different green teas from awful tea bags.I would certainly buy from this seller again and could happily choose just one flavour to order a supply of knowing I would receive quality leaves and could brew a refreshing, albeit it mild-tasting, green tea.

Great range
I bought this as a gift (for a tea drinker). They we’re delighted with the range of high quality teas and how they were presented.

Superb
This was a gift for my dad, who is very much enjoying it and is happy indeed. I did taste a little myself and I agree: It's lovely, fresh, and much superior to what we're used to on the general market here in the UK.What a good, worthy business idea, as well as product. I love the fact that India - being so famed historically for, among other things, its tea - is able to get the really good stuff out in this company, as well as support the families of the workers in the manner it does.

Good for exploring, though about half the teas felt pretty mediocre
I did a review for all the tea included, but to keep it short, I'l just be posting the condensed version of the 2 stands out.Preimum First Flush:Intriguing and complex, good quality Darjeeling. The dry leaves look great and brew into a lovely clear, golden liquor. The taste starts subtle but evolves into a complex aftertaste with noticeable bitterness, a unique ginger-like note, and a subtle sweetness that develops. It's interesting how the layers reveal themselves more with each cup, I got three good infusions out of it, with the ginger note lasting well. The aroma is mild, leaning towards ginger when brewed. While it didn't completely blow me away, I appreciate its complexity and quality. Recommended if you like exploring unique profiles, but maybe not if you're looking for classic strong floral or muscatel notes.Muscatel:Right out of the pack, the leaves have a genuinely nice smell, sweet and floral, that aroma carried onto the taste too. There's still bitterness from black tea, but it takes a backseat to the warm, light sweetness and fruity undertones; way more complex than your average black tea. That uniqueness immediately clicked for me, I've had this before, though I can't remember when. The leaves themselves are thick and flavourful, can easily use for 2 infusions without losing taste.A pleasant tea I can see myself adding to my regular.______This was my first sampler from Vahdam, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but when you see "Assorted Black Tea Sampler," you kind of expect... well, more variety. Instead, pretty much everything here was just different takes on Darjeeling and Assam. Maybe that's their thing, but it felt a bit disappointing and repetitive if you're hoping to explore black teas more broadly.Beyond that, a good chunk of the selection, probably about 6 out of the 10 teas, felt pretty mediocre or just plain forgettable. Things like the standard English Breakfast and the basic Assams were drinkable, sure, but they didn't offer much complexity or excitement and tasted quite similar. However, it wasn't a total loss. The Premium Darjeeling First Flush was definitely a highlight and quite good. But the real standout, the clear winner for me, was the Muscatel Darjeeling Imperial. That one was fantastic, with a lovely complexity and those muscatel notes really coming through. It's pretty much the only tea from this entire sampler that I'd actually consider buying a bigger bag of.For the £15 price tag, getting 10 different 10g samples is decent value purely for the chance to explore within those specific Indian regions. It certainly did its job on that front, even if the overall "assortment" felt narrower than advertised. My main takeaway is that the quality felt uneven, and the variety was mostly limited to Darjeeling and Assam variations.
