One of the highest quality dry foods available
This is a great quality dog food - I first found out about it when it was listed as being one of the best dry foods available for dogs on the dog food comparison website www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk It's made from 80% real meat, is wheat/ grain free, and has no added nasties. Unlike many major brands of dog food; a large number of which are only made with 4% meat (or animal product), the rest bulked out with cheap wheat, plus nasty additives and colourings (despite the fact dogs are pretty much colour blind!). My new rescue dog LOVES her Aatu, and her coat and overall condition has improved noticeably since being fed this high quality diet. Her coat has definitely got glossier and she has built muscle, although I suspect she was fed very poorly before we adopted her recently. Don't be surprised if your dog takes a while to transition- we gradually changed to Aatu over a period of a couple of weeks - at first she wasn't very interested in it, but now she loves it so much she can't get enough of it - we even use the Aatu kibble as training treats and she will do anything for them! The size of each individual biscuit (piece of kibble) is quite small, as I suppose this way it is suitable for small, medium and large dogs alike, avoiding having to make different products for different sized dogs. The small biscuit size has the added bonus of being able to easily fit in a Kong or similar food dispensing toy. I'm really pleased that my little dog loves this dry food so much, and that I know that this food is delivering optimum nutrition and is of the highest quality available. Obviously the price reflects this, but as I have just a 10kg dog, a 10kg bag of food lasts me quite a while. As Aatu has such concentrated nutrition, a dog may need to be given less of this food compared to some of the less nutritious, off the shelf brands that are widely available. Some seemingly cheap brands may not actually work out that much cheaper, as a higher weight of the cheap food needs to be fed to the dog each day, compared to Aatu. For example, compare the feeding guidelines of Bakers to Aatu. Last but not least, the stay-fresh zip lock bag is great!

Dogs really love this food
I was feeding my dogs with Pooch and Mutt dry food, another premium brand. Never really liked the smell of it though. They eat it but aren't excited about it. As I was already using AATU wet dog food as well (lamb flavour as least antibiotics used in rearing sheep), I thought I'd try Aatu dry food for a change. My 15 year old Golden retriever is no longer all that interested in food, she does eat, but with a kind of grudging "if you insist" kind of attitude (probably copied from our teenage children - although I don't feed them this) well, I put a bowl of chicken flavour AATU dry food under her nose and she wolfed it down and then, for the first time in her life, quite fiercely stole one of the younger Labradors bowlful too! I was amazed. She doesn't even do that when I give them real chicken. They are only on their 2nd 12k bag, so I can't comment on long-term health but can say it did not upset their tummies at all, and I took a chance and didn't introduce it gradually as one should for a new food (as I'd run out of their regular food). None of my dogs make nasty smells, their breath smells sweet and they all have shiny coats and are full of energy, so I do think expensive premium brands are worth the money. So, I can say all of my dogs absolutely love this AATU dry food chicken flavour and they are doing well on it.

The First Kibble My Dog Actually Finishes
Hello AATU Team, I just wanted to share quick feedback on your Chicken kibble. We adopted our cockapoo, Opie, last week, and he came to us as a dog who’s very picky specifically with dry food. His previous family had tried multiple brands with little success - he would nibble throughout the day and rarely finish a bowl. With this kibble, everything changed instantly. He now eats his meals in one sitting, clearly enjoys the flavour, and has had zero digestive issues. For a newly adopted dog adjusting to a new home, this has made a huge difference in his routine, energy, and overall comfort. We started with a 1.5kg bag “just to try,” and after seeing how enthusiastically he eats it, I’ve now bought two 10kg bags, which will easily cover the year since he also gets wet food. That’s how confident I am that he will keep happily eating it. The ingredient quality, kibble size, and overall formulation feel genuinely premium, and we really appreciate the transparency. My only suggestion would be to make calorie information (kcal per 100g) visible on the packaging to help with precise portioning. Thank you for making a product that finally works for him - it’s been a real relief during an important transition period. Warm regards, Ani & Opie

A++ quality food, shame about high price!
I recently got this for my 2 year old Staffie and he absolutely loves this food! The food has a very strong smell which he loves when in the bowl so makes him want to bit in. And the kibble is small but still big enough that he crunches on it. The bag itself is genius! I am very impressed with this zip seal to keep the food fresh and it really works well and easy to seal again. So why did I give this 4 stars? Well the product itself is 5 stars but the price is what brings the score down! I have to get the 10kg bag so £50 a month is fairly high considering the last food I was getting was half the price for same size. It would be great to see AATU doing more deals on this food and higher savings if you subscribe each month. I am going to continue to buy though as this food is awesome for my dog even though I am grumpy about the price :-)

Outstanding Quality - Dogs love it, so do their allergies!
I have been feeding AATU to my three dogs for over year now and can honestly say it's the best premium brand food we have tried (and we have tried virtually all of them). My male Staffordshire Bull Terrier has a severe allergic skin condition which results in constant scratching and chewing, blistering rashes, chronic ear infections and sore, bleeding paws and tail. I switched all three dogs to AATU after discovering that he was allergic to all grains AND white potato. There are very few commercial dog foods available which contain no grains and no white potato (why do they put potato in everything?), so I was delighted when I found AATU. The improvement in my dog's allergic skin reactions was immediate and dramatic. We have been able to reduce his daily steroid dose by 33% for the first time in years. He has not had an ear infection since he switched and his other allergic reactions are also much improved. My female Staffordshire Bull Terrier has also benefited enormously from switching to AATU. She has severe food intolerances and had never been able to dry food without vomiting afterwards. There are only two brands of premium wet food which she can eat without becoming ill, so I was amazed to find that she could not only eat AATU dry food, but actually thrived on it. I also have a female Shih Tzu with a very sensitive tummy. Again, she has managed to eat AATU with no problems. She eats happily and her coat now looks fantastic.

Price fluctuates hugely every month.
The food itself is great. All my dogs enjoy it. It had a high protein content and no grain. However. The price for the chicken 10kg can range from £46 with a subscribe and save discount to at one point £100. I’ve had my orders “damaged and returned” twice now and I don’t actually believe that has happened. I think they couldn’t fulfil the order as I’ve never had it happen with anything else. I ordered at £46 two weeks ago price today is £80 and a week to deliver. My dogs have no food and Amazon have done nothing to rectify the situation. I now have to find it elsewhere. I’m so fed up with the lies!
