Adidas Hockey SG

Great fit and lighweight. I have tried wrap around pads before and not got on with them so moved to more traditional 'football style' pads. However, after one nasty ball to the shin off a short corner, I decided to give these a try. I have been really pleased with my other Adidas hockey products so hoped these would do the trick. After a league game in them last weekend I am very happy. They are comfortable, stay in place without tape and offer great protection.

Used this for hockey and fitted tightly. Quality is good but pricy.

These are excellent shin pads for hockey. My son was very pleased as they provide that extra protection from shin/ankle stock impact. SIZING: he has just turned 11 and on the shorter side out of his friends. I ordered XS as some comments have suggested this is suitable. These were too small and didn’t extend all the way up the shin, only about three quarters. It’s annoying as you have to pay to return so I’ve kept them for his younger brother. I’ve now got small and they are perfect. Anyone over 10 or above average in height should be getting small I think.

Very good quality product from a trusted brand. Sturdy construction. Good size fit. Comfortable. Good coverage of the lower leg. Does not hinder movement during play. Very good price too.

Comfortable shinpads, offer good protection against sport related injuries(like a hockey ball hitting a leg at a high speed. It is painful without a shinpad), and it is kinda the only job.4 start are only because the soft inner of the pad started to go off after first two weeks of usage(I was drying them on a radiator), but it was fixable with bits of tape.

The only shin pads we will ever buy now, we have tried many over the years of growing sports children. Great fit, good shin coverage, length and protection. Robust, and with a washable lining is definitely a good idea Good value for money.

Fits perfectly, comfortable and sturdy, and the removable foam pads make keeping them hygienic really easy.I wear socks under my shin pads, so don't know how comfortable they'd be without that.
