Simple Green 13405 Extreme Aircraft and Precision Cleaner, 5 Gallon Bottle

I have a polished aluminum aircraft, which is incredibly difficult to clean without scratching or etching an affecting the shine. Simple Green Extreme prepares oily aircraft belly residue so that it can be wiped off with a microfiber towel after Simple Green Extreme is liberally sprayed on. The aluminum shine is not reduced and material is not etched. Regular Simple Green will etch, so for aircraft and aluminum vehicles use Simple Green Extreme.Simple Green Extreme is also effective on exhaust residue, but it doesn't magically remove all of the residue unless some scrubbing is performed.The only downside to Simple Green Extreme is that over the course of about 8 months it will attack spray bottle sprayer nozzle innards and render the sprayer unable to spray. If you empty out spray bottles after using the product for car and airplane washes, and clean the bottle sprayer by shooting clean water through it, then the sprayers will last.

Regular Simple Green is NOT good for aluminum (corrosive I guess is how you would describe it?) It is also not nearly as strong as this stuffWe have 5 planes of which 2 are filthy old pigs haha...and this stuff does an amazing job. Once we get them cleaned up well, it is an easy job to keep them touched up with a diluted spray bottle of this and some paper towels.DO NOT use it on the windows. Use furniture polish and micro fleece towels. (Cheap spray furniture polish is the best window cleaner I have ever used )Cannot recommend enough! And these guys are way cheaper than Aircraft Spruce

I'm using this in a harbor freight parts washer for auto parts. It works well for cleaning without agitation.The first thing I used this for was to clean fuel injectors. I was amazed how it cleaned them better than the mineral spirits. The grime and residues lifted off almost instantly. It is not very strong on baked on carbon deposits but with a long soaking it will soften it.My only complaint when used in a parts washer it will get very foamy to the point of making it difficult to see the part well as it is being cleaned.

Safe on aluminum I believe. Not as powerful as the original green simple green but if you are cleaning dirt bikes, this is the way to go.

This stuff works great for degreasing car parts in my heated parts washer. It also shipped faster than a normal prime product too which was pretty cool. Well worth the money.

This is the best stuff for washing a dirt bike! Doesn't harm aluminum parts like the regular green colored simple green. This product is clear and has a mild and pleasant smell. I wash my bike in the same place of the yard every weekend and no harm to the grass. My friend washed his truck with it and found that the front windshield acted as if there was RainX applied! Excellent product.

I had to clean up a couple of aluminum cylinder heads and wanted a cleaner that wasn't caustic like what I would use for cast iron. The heads are from a 50 year old Corvair and were plenty black with carbon. Simple Green has the solution! Soaked the heads at full strength and then brushed the stubborn areas. Took a 1/2 day of soaking and intermittent brushing but came out looking like new. The cleaner brightens the surface. Was delighted with the results.

seems to work well with Motocross bikes and the container is well built and can be used for a number of things when empty, mine will be used oil!
