Great Design: 100% holds the iPhone in place on windscreen/dash allows safe & worry free GPS
Very pleased. Attaching the holder arm at exactly the right angle on the windscreen (the length and flexibility of the curved arm allows for various options) and then adding the additional 'sucker' to the dash, just behind the phone cradle itself - this gives stability to the whole installation, holding the phone/GPS securely and safely in place and sight at all times. Since the easy release button allows removal of the phone without disturbing the holder's position, the holder has remained in the original place I set it up! No 'restocking' or adjusting - Unbelievable - great design!

Great Product, One small Minor Issue
It's really hard to get a good setup for phone holders, I've been through about 3 or 4 setups and this one is probably the best I've had so far except for one small issue. The side grips that you collapse inwards to hold the phone in place do not really go aroudn the phone enough to hold it in place securely. This means that I have to always have the phone at a slight upwards facing angle. If I don't get it right and pull away hard in my tiny underpowered 75bhp VW polo, the phone will fall out of the holder. I just wish the side grips came around the phone a bit more to prevent this happening.

Great piece of kit.
In the short time I have had this item, it has proven to be everything the seller claims. It is without doubt the best phone holder I have used. The holder attaches solidly to the windscreen, and the extra support is a great addition. It holds my phone very firmly with very little vibration coming through the holder, and it has the simplest release system I have seen. It is also the least intrusive I have had, the sucker and the first inch or so of the arm being the only part that is in my line of sight. It has a well built feel to it, and I think it should last for a very long time.

Very good indeed
I use this in a motorhome (massive screen and dash area) and also in a small car and am able to find a secure position easily on both these extremes. The combination of a good suction cap to the screen and adhesive support on the dash works really well and the phone holder tabs are very secure and the damped action when you open them suggests a very nicely made product. Heartily recommended.

A little shaky but works
Instructions say to have the dash stand close to the screen end, however this leaves majority of the arm free to bounce around when you drive on Britain’s lovely smooth roads! Especially noticeable when the phone weight is added. Solution...either ignore instruction and have stand further along arm or wedge the phone end so it’s resting on the side frame as I have done. On the positive side the arm is very sturdy and with a bit of force can be positioned pretty much where you want, whether high or low. There is a trigger button on the phone unit to open it so you don’t have to fight to get the phone in the clip.

A Solid 4-stars...
Myself and my partner have got through about four of these, and they're very good. She likes the length, as it were, as she's got a Discovery 2 which has quite a deep dashboard; and I liked the extra clamp that you can stick to the dashboard - which is useful because it helps deal with the vibration/shaking caused by having a long arm. However, they all suffered from the same problem - they broke. The plastic that joins the ball at the end of the arm to the arm itself is very, very thin. Sure, I accept that I'm a ham-fisted mechanic but it should be stronger in my experience.Aside from that, the mount is great value and will take a decent sized phone. I've actually secured a couple of the broken holders to metal brackets, so they're still in use.A solid, great value, 4-star holder.

Lasts better than some but seems to block the mike on my phone
Seems well built and has outlasted many of the others that I have tried. Only issue is it seems to block the mike on my iPhone. Its a bit of a bummer but due to the quality build I can put the phone into the cradle and leave a gap beneath the phone without it sliding down so people can hear me. I do like the release button being on the back as it means that I hold the phone in the cradle as I release it and it doesn't go flying round the car. The mechanism seems a lot sturdier than most I have tried and hasn't ended up stripping the teeth off the arms or getting stuck. Its not perfect but works for me.*updated* there is one unexpected problem with it. I am now on my third one as the family keep nicking them.

Could be the best, but...
It would be an absolutely amazing product, it's good quality, easy to handle and to set up, but it just won't stay on the glass for longer than a half an hour. I've tried so many ways, so many positions, tried to use the little support pad that comes with it in many locations and angles, but it just keeps popping off after a while which is really annoying when you're driving and you'd need navigation. Maybe with a second support pad it would be better. It is such a shame because it really is great stuff but it's basically won't function as a phone holder so hence the bad review. Please improve!
