Great for the price
For the price, this item was incredible. Not sure about the longevity of it yet but worth it for the price either way.

Wasn't expecting much, but, honestly... it's awesome.
Took a chance on this and am thoroughly impressed. If you let 'er rip, she'll run straight through concrete no problem. The bits it comes with are, as expected, not great and will break after a few runs through concrete (hence the minus one star on durability), but no biggie there. Used it for multiple projects so far and has had no issues. Feels super sturdy, built like an old school drill from decades past. I especially like that it comes with extra brushes for the motor - very cool that a company is still making serviceable tools like this. Feels kinda goofy walking around with a tool branded "DONG CHENG" when you've got name-brand tools sitting next to it, but hey, it does the job, and can't beat it for the price.

Worked, not sure about longevity
Bought this to drill a hole in a boulder for a project. It worked but not sure of longevity for this drill. I bought it to drill a hole (which it did) but this is clearly a cheapo hammer drill that did the job for me.

Well made, Did the job.
I needed 4 half inch holes in a solid concrete slab. My corded drill quit drilling at about 1/4 inch. With this hammer drill I started with a 1/8" bit and worked up to the 1/2". Had all 4 holes 1 1/4" deep in about 20 minutes. Very pleased with the quality and performance. A case for it would be nice.

On the second use the chuck screw snapped off
My first impression was positive as the drill had good power, and using it on the hammer setting with only a 1/8 inch drill bit, drilling a few holes in a concrete block was a breeze. Unfortunately, on only the second use (3 months after purchase) and using it with a 2 inch hole saw just a single time, the chuck fell off! The chuck is threaded onto the drill arbor but they use a tiny screw, apparently made out of pot metal, to keep the chuck securely in place. With just a little stress with the larger drill bit that screw snapped off rendering the drill useless, as the chuck will just unthread itself in normal use without that screw. Unfortunately, part of the screw is now snapped off and stuck in the drill and it would require a very small screw extractor to take out, and then getting a replacement screw from the manufacturer, to fix it. There are two problems with this drill that I can see just from this one issue: 1st, the screw they used is undersized to hold on the chuck of a 6 amp drill. Secondly, if they were going to use such a tiny screw then they need to make sure the screw is made from high quality titanium steel. Since my purchase is beyond the return date, the only thing I can hope for is that the manufacturer will contact me about getting a replacement. If that happens I will change this review rating, and hope that the next drill is better.

I needed it to make four holes in cinder blocks. It did it well!
I needed it to make four holes in cinder blocks. I heard the hammers and it banged through the block easily. And, since my need was so modest, I wasn't going to spend hundreds on a rotary hammer drill. I wanted a very competent, well built, and corded hammer drill because I understood that a corded one would be stronger, in general. For under 32 dollars with a coupon, the DongCheng Rotary hammer drill fit the bill. Even though the drill bit slipped a little in the keyed chuck, I still gave this drill a 5 rating, because I chalked it up to MY error after reading a review which stated that the chuck slipped for another user. You really must crank it down hard to succeed using all three holes on the chuck. After doing so, the last two Tapcons went in perfectly. If you slip the switch to the right, you've got a variable speed drill. Most homeowner DIYers can stop right there, now owning two of the three drill functions in one tool. The only function left is an impact driver. This unit is not an impact driver. I'm very please with myself for this considered purchase.

Great product works very well
Was easy drilling into the concrete block. Took no time at all. The only issue is that the stabilizing handle kept coming off. Other than that it's a great buy for someone like me who doesn't need it very often
