Great item for attaching two things at once to a tap. Good connection and quality. I find that the water pressure drops too much to be able to use both sides at once (could just be a problem with the pressure generally), but saves having to constantly swap attachments over. Good value for money.

As a retired plumber I’ve used this item and others dozens of times…. Top tip … just before connecting any of the three sides completely submerge the splitter in very warm water which softens the rubber O-ring seal on the main flow connector and then hand tighten then nip it up with a pair of plumbers foot print pliers just a touch … never fails then connect the other two supplies and again nip up and open both supplies leaving kitchen roll or talc on the nearest sirface below the joints to see any water leaks and if it leaks then again gently nip up again as sometimes just tightening by hand is not enough and remember to submerge in very hot water for about 5 minutes before installing on the water supply … good luck 😊

I just could not get a tight seal, even with tape, turns out the rubber you turn to tighten, is not that good, but if you slide it down, there is the metal nut with a gripping surface, pipe pliers on that and it was sorted

I wanted to add a tabletop dishwasher into a pantry that already had a washing machine installed. I wanted it permanently plumbed in, so it was necessary to have two 3/4" BSP cold water outlets, one for each appliance. I had just one.This was a good quality manifold that split the source into two. It was perfect for the purpose. I didn't really need two isolating valves but that could obviously come in handy any time maintenance is required and if I then want to take one appliance away but still use the other one. The valves were all watertight and the manifold is supplied with a spare washer. I hand tightened the manifold to the existing valve and the two water pipes to it and to the appliances, and that was sufficient for no leaks to be present. In fact, the job was completed without any issues, and both of the installed devices have been tested.Note that if you have lowish water pressure, I do not believe the valves on this are full bore, so this might reduce the water pressure going to your appliances. I would think this would not be a problem for the majority of cases but it's something to be aware of. In that case, you would have to go for either a similar product without the valves or a product that has full bore valves.

Pre assembly of unit is quite poor.The black rubber grip just slips on the brass fitting - just remove it before you start.The brass fitting is actually 2 pieces with the inner hex bolt very loosely screwed in to the splitter - remember to make sure you add ptfe tape to that and retighten.The brass screw fit is now only a rounded grip so use pliers to tighten, remember to use plenty of ptfe tape on install.Took a few goes to discover all this but now seems ok, only time will tell.Overall I’ve seen better quality out there, read all the reviews and use the info that’s in some of them.

Purchased this as I needed both a dishwasher and washing machine in my kitchen and the default fixtures under the sink had just the 1 water outlet pipe.Easy to screw on, both the individual water stop tap switches work with no issue, and standard UK water inlet pipes for appliances fit on easy.Comes with 3 washers for each head as required.Cheaper than most hardware stores, sturdy and not cheap plastic.
