Manuka Health MGO 250 Plus Manuka Honey 500 g

Excellent quality manuka honey. Manuka honey is a fantastic natural antibiotic and works when taken orally or by applying direct to the wound. I swear by it have teaspoon twice a day to help my immune system and digestion . I also suffer foliculitus where the hair roots can become inflamed and since taking the manuka honey my symptoms have reduced. I believe it help keep my skin and body healthy. I also used directly on my skin when a tattoo I had got infected and thanks to the manuka honey it healed with little scarring. If you suffer bad skin or sores scars even post operation I used to heal the wound site . Just make sure when your buying manuka honey the strengths are right as low UMF and mgo are not as effective that's why I b no less than 15umf or 250 mgo as they have a more antibiotic effect . I use the higher strength as it works

The taste was so smooth and delicious also good as a medication for my little dog.

Never used manuka honey before but I can say that is different from regular honey. The colour is darker and the taste is stronger. I have a table spoon every morning on empty stommach. I suffered from UTI's and don't know if this is the placebo effect but after a week of this natural antibiotic I must say that I feel way better. A colleague from work recommended it as he gives to his 3 and 4 yrs old kids and he said their immune system is stronger as they don't get cold so often. Be aware though, it is not suitable for children under 12 months.

I've been using this honey for a few months now, and take half a spoon daily. I haven't had a cold, or sore throat or anything since I started using it and I attribute it to this. It is pricey, but cheaper here than in the local health shop for me. I think it is worth every penny.

The product arrived dirty and in a plastic jar. Considering the price and the value of the product, I was expecting a glass jar. I'm disappointed.
