Clear face.
It foams a lot, even with a small amount of product. After washing, my face feels completely clean and much lighter. I have combination skin, so it works well for me. However, I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin, as it's a deep cleanser and may make their skin even drier. But for me, I really like this product.

DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES!
It has a reasonable whitening effect in that it leaves the skin clear looking and smooth...however DO NOT GET THIS IN YOUR EYES!! I did and it stung like crazy it hurt so very much I thought I would go blind. Be careful when using this.

Temporary whitening effect.
I'm of English and mixed Med/ M.Eastern heritage, with a light olive complexion. I'm convinced (like another reviewer of this product) that this facial wash actually does give my skin a paler pinkish glow, if only for a short time. The face wash has quite a thick, creamy, oily substance. Upon washing off it would appear to leave behind a white "film" or residue on the face, with an overall effect similar to wearing sunblock or pale foundation. In short, it does what it says on the tin, but with only temporary results. I'm not sure this would benefit someone with a darker skin tone than mine. I like it though. Good to use before a night out or going somewhere special, if only just to give my skin a brighter glow. Will be buying again!!!

First found this in India!!!! I found this in Mumbai in a drug store forgot I had it and therefore did't use it for 6 months after coming home.One night before going to bed I used it by accident to wash my face. It was so creamy and the scent was so pleasant I started to use it every night. In one week I noticed my melasma/freckles started to fade!!!! My complexion become more even. I now use it twice a day. I'm reordering next month!!!
