Professional Microwave Kiln for Glass Fusing Small Kiln

Means I can make little glass fused squares for art work at home! Hit and miss with fusing but think I have my technique optimised now and results seem more consistent. Persevere with the initial trial and error, its worth it.

Liked nothing about it , absolute sub standard rubbish . Cracked on first firing of 3 minutes in an 800 watt microwave. Sub standard and dangerous. Would give it a minus star but it would not let me so i had to put one to continue

Bought this for my sister. She hasn't used it yet. But didn't realise how small the inside is. Best for small trinket pinch bowls.

The small microwave kiln is good for small items and quite absorbing. I had a larger one which was a disaster and just didn't melt the glass and burnt the inside material - that one was returned.

These are great when they work. I have now had two of them fail during the first firing (developed large cracks).If you push them to stoneware temperatures they are not going to last awfully long. But in absence of a proper kiln, they're the best thing out there. Having to replace them regularly, they do become quite expensive.

Works great, I used it to fuse sea-glass in a small domestic microwave. It took about seven minutes and the results were amazing

I've no idea how this little device can raise the temperature to around 800 degrees celsius using microwaves, but it does the job. Most firings have to be by trial and error as obviously there is no control other than the main microwave timings.

Arrived with a crack so neede to return and was refunded.
