First Basketball All Surface Swingball

Purchased this for my parents to have something for my daughter to play with outside. It took 5 minutes to setup (including grabbing some sand from sandpit to weigh the base down).The basketball set comes in its own box with four latches that are easy to undo. Within this box are the three poles, two joiners for the poles, ball, pump and valve as well as of course the net/hoop and backboard. Initial impressions were very good and I only had to refer to the instructions once as I wasn’t sure if the net had to be hooked with the pin that actually clips the backboard/hoop to the pole (you can but it isn’t necessary).As I mentioned, we weighed the base down with some sand but could easily have used gravel, water or even a couple of big stones or similar – whether this is necessary I’m not sure but my daughter has a mean throw so I erred on the side of caution and put two buckets of sand in the container and didn’t fall over all afternoon.I can see this easily being packed away each time (could weigh base down with a couple of stones or something like that) but only thing stopping me doing that is the hoop is a bit stiff to move each time (just stiff rather than design flaw.The only slight gripe I have is the ball isn’t the best quality, particularly as it came deflated and even after being inflated for a few hours, still had creased in it. That said, it isn’t designed to be used as a proper basketball so dribbling with it isn’t an issue. My daughter (3) found it easy to throw and fitted in her hand fine. The pump that came with the kit has a plastic needle valve located in the handle (good for travelling) and you just have to remember to moisten the needle before inflating. Very easy to inflate and ball held the air all afternoon.My daughter (3 years old) is approximately 1mtr tall and we are using two out of the three poles that come with this, so there is definitely longevity to this for some time to come. She even wanted us to buy one for home so she could play it in our garden!Definitely 5 stars.

Bought this for my grandson, who is 2 1/2, for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and being able to adjust it to various heights is a boon. Could do with some shorter poles so that it could be adjusted more, but we have adapted it with some plastic plumbing pipe. An excellent way of making exercise and co-ordination fun. He knows he has to "aim for the rectangle" to be able to land into the net! Easily packed away into the "case" bottom and ideal for indoors or outdoors. I expect we shall enjoy hours of fun.

My two children 5 & 3 love this. Probably not suitable for older children as ring not tall enough and post not sturdy enough. Plenty of fun for the little ones though!

Well worth it- can use water in base to keep it solid, this can be drained out easily to move item from place to place- has been taken on holiday or used in back garden. Sturdy and reliable withstanding heavy use by two teen boys.

Not very sturdy. It's all made out of plastic so is quite flimsy

This was terrible. It is smaller than in the picture and more for 2 year old. It is not sturdy and a child bigger than a 2 year old would bend it over and possibly break it. Rubbish purchase so returned immediately.

It arrives in a small pack which is great. Instructions are very easy to follow and product was assembled in 5 minutes. My daughter has so much fun with it. There is an option to put sand / water in the base to make it heavier. My 2 year does not have the problem playing with it at the moment. There is also an height extension for future use.

Agree with other review, the picture is misleading. My short 4 year old just puts his arm up and puts the ball in. Told me this as soon as I set it up and showed no interest since. Its flimsy but light so easy to set up, move about, pack away etc. The concept is good.

Bon panier de basket, très simple, belle couleur, bonne hauteur pour les plus jeunes. Mon fils de 4 ans s'amuse bien avec. Maintenant à voir sa tenue quand il y a du vent, pas encore testé.

Ottimo il fatto di poterlo richiudere in una valigetta.Robusto anche se tutto in plasticaAvendo la palla cosi piccola però direi che va bene per bambini fino a 4 anni, credo che successivamente si dimostrerà piccolo.

Je pense que ce produit ne vaut pas plus de 30-35€. Le panier est tellement dur à déplier qu'on a 1 chance sur 2 de le casser. C'est pourquoi j'ai préféré le dévisser pour pouvoir le déplier et ensuite je l'ai revissé. Le produit ne semble pas très solide.

Haben diesen Basketballkorb zu Weihnachten an unseren 22 Monate alten Sohn verschenkt. Danach waren alle anderen Geschenke uninteressant und es wurde fleissig geworfen und auch die Erwachsenen mussten alle ran.Wie auf der Abbildung zu sehen ist, besteht der Korb aus drei Stangen. Wir haben zuerst nur zwei verwendet, damit sich schnell Erfolgserlebnisse zeigten. Der Korb ist dann so hoch, dass mein Sohn den Ball einfach von oben reinwerfen kann.Nachdem er es sehr häufig schaffte, denn Ball auch von weiter weg reinzuwerfen, benutzten wir alle drei Stangen und nun ist es nicht mehr so leicht, aber dennoch gut schaffbar.Natürlich wurde dadurch das ganze wackeliger und für ein wildes Spiel ist es auch nicht geeignet.Dennoch ist es leicht auf- und abzubauen, leicht zu transportieren und für ein Kleinkind völlig ausreichend.
