Darksiders: Warmastered Edition - PlayStation 4

another classic by THQ Nordic!loved it on PS3 and even more so with the Warmastered version. yeah its not a perfect game, but loads of fun hacking and slashing demons that cross your path to save the world doomed for apocalypse!great price too! :)

It's a good game fun snd challenging. You may need to watch some walkthroughs on youtube, for some of the puzzles can be confusing. All in all nice game. Epic story and good graphics.

Great game.. Brings back the memories

Whether you played the game when it first arrived on the last gen, or are thinking about picking it up now. I highly recommend picking up this badboy (along with his brother Death in the sequel). For those who've played the game it's a good reminder and enjoyable play through, recalling the game that debuted in 2010. Those that are new, I would suggest keeping in mind that did come out so what 6 years ago, and a lot has changed in terms of gaming since then.Darksiders is a great dungeon game, and offers a rich world, full of depth and back story to the amazing set up that the creators have made.The game runs pretty smooth considering the age of the original game. A bit glitches here and there, with the audio being in sync on the cut scenes. Other remastered games have been polished better yes, but that doesn't mean that this isn't badly done. As a push to try and give the Darksiders games some much need life and to hopefully see a 3rd game on the horizon, this game for it's great price offers something really worth you time to get a taster. Then once you pick up the sequel, you'll be dying for another instalment.I'm a huge fan of this series and I think this is worth every penny. It doesn't offer any particular extra content but then it didn't have any DLC on the original. If you want more of this amazing story, once you've finished the first game get your hands on number 2!

Good game and the price is cheap so definitely worth buying and adding to the collection.

Good for what is essentially a Ps3 gsme

I love the game on the Xbox which is why I bought the remastered edition, but it has clearly been rushed out. Quality control is grim if not entirely absent. A few of the bugs apparent in the first ten minutes of play are that cut scenes suddenly stop half way through but the subtitles and sound continue for several minutes into the resumed game, that War's shadow is often completely disconnected from his body making him look like he's hovering in mid-air, and inverting the Y axis control doesn't affect the aiming cursor, which makes the aim function essentially impossible to use. The first two of these bugs would have been blatantly evident on any play through, meaning that either nobody tested the remastered version or the developers couldn't be bothered to fix these simple issues. The latter seems to be the case because they have already released a patch for the game, which I applied before playing, and it's not possible that players failed to feed back these issues.Also the remastering is underwhelming. I don't expect the graphics to be anywhere near as good as new generation games but you'd have to run this game side-by-side with the Xbox / PS3 version to see any obvious difference.Originally it was a great game, and to some extent still is, but the remastering is terrible and it's not worth more than a fiver.
