When this item arrived and I saw the size (though I knew the measurements when I ordered) I thought this is massive, why did I order such a big mat! BUT and there is a BUT, when I unrolled it and laid it out, it perfectly spanned the width of my two porch doors and in actuality does not look big at all. Its exactly the right size that it should be. I think we (my family and I) are just so conditioned to think the smaller 'standard' size are 'normal'. The mat itself is rubber i think and seems very durable. The design is nice and also functional in that dust and debris gets trapped in the little circles and then you can lift the mat and sweep away the mess. The grooves really help to get rid of debris off your shoes. The mat doesn't slip and move around on the drive unlike all of my previous 'standard' door mats. And also when it rains it doesn't turn into a wet carpet and shedding particals and become dirty. I've had only had it just a few days so far so can't really comment on durability but it certainly looks and feels quality and made to last and take heavy use.

This is an excellent outside door mat etc. I bought one over a year ago. It is still perfect and very handy to make a neat walkway into back door. Any water just drains through the holes. Decided to expand the length, hence why I bought another. Worthwhile purchase. Recommend for a 'sort of' walkway/ patio type effect.

very sturdy and has a good weight to it. will not blow away. good drainage holes for water and dirt to pass through but will need lifting to do this. nice to stand on before coming into house from garden. if you need a big out door matt this is it. good value.

This is now my fourth one of these mats - one for each outside door. They are excellent. We live in a rather exposed position so it is vital that anything we put putside is sturdy and ehavy. These are totally brilliant. They look smart and attractive too.

Good for a 5 star but I gave it 4 stars because it was too thick that my door couldn't open. Of course that's not there fault, but me neither as I didn't check the measurements very well. Couldn't return as it is way too heavy. I would recommend it.
