I bought this for my plantar fasciitis but the socks were ridiculously tight. I bought a size Large as I am a size 8 foot. I could barely get these on my feet let alone over my heels / ankles. I’ve attached a photo showing my FOUR year old wearing them (albeit on her legs rather than ankles) and as you can see they are cutting in to her and are basically skin tight on her so god knows how they are supposed to fit a grown adult. I managed to get them about half way up my foot on my own but actually needed my husband to help me to pull them up further and then they were so tight my toe and foot bones were being crushed together like some sort of Chinese foot binding torture. Completely impossible to wear and a complete waste of money.

Heel/foot pain for about 4 months, stretching &execises not helping. Worn the socks for 2 days so far & heel pain hadn't gone but is considerably better. Able to walk rather than hobble 1st thing in the morning without dreading gettng out of bed & putting my feet on the floor. Worried they would be tight & mark my foot but they are comfy, lightweight & am able to wear ordinary socks over them. Hopefully pain will totally subside over next few weeks. Would recommend this product, money well spent as I am taking far less pain relief.Update: After 1week I am painfree & off painkillers. Grateful is an understatement. Thank you for a brilliant product

I've suffered from really bad foot pain due to Plantar Fasciitis for a while now, and I must say, these socks have worked way better than I expected. The job I work involves near constant walking, for up to 15 miles a day, and my feet were at breaking point. Most mornings, when getting out of bed, I literally couldn't stand, hand to furniture walk and almost crawl around the house until I "broke" my feet back in.Been wearing these socks day and night since I bought them, and although there is still some pain there now and then as to be expected, its MUCH better than it was before, this morning, I was able to spring out of bed and go about my day right away, without all the usual agony and pain, feeling sturdy on my feet for the first time in months.Maybe its a bit of a placebo factor too, mind over matter and that, but either way, I'm just glad to have some quality of life back. As far as comfort goes, they feel perfectly fine to me wearing them 24/7 - my feet are a size 12 but they don't feel too tight on them or anything.If your someone that's been suffering from constant foot pain like myself, then for the price of these socks - which isn't much more than a box or two of painkillers, it can't hurt to try them out.

Lots of varying reviews on this product. I've had these socks for 5 weeks now.I suffer immensely with Plantar Fasciitis and early onset arthritis. I purchased the S/M (my shoe size 4½-5 UK).The socks arrive with a booklet of instructions and exercises (see pictures).They are tight to put on but not uncomfortable. DO NOT WEAR OVERNIGHT, the booklet does not recommend this, I tried it anyway and the socks got tighter and tighter and painful, at 3am I had to rip them off my feet and they were more swollen than they should be.I wear these socks every morning (get out of bed and put them on) and stretch for 15 mins, I have found the pain throughout the day is greatly reduced and some days non-existent. I've tried wearing the socks whilst doing intense cardio (running, stepper, circuits), not great as they get tighter the more you sweat and your feet swell and become painful, so would not recommend for that activity.I hand wash in cold water as suggested. The socks feel looser and not as tight over the weeks but I still find they are helping.Overall: Not a cure but a great help for easing the agony of foot pain throughout the day for me (experiences may vary for everyone).

This product is fine for those who are fit and healthy, who are mobile and active.They are supportive items to help with foot/heel pain and circulation.BUT, these are NOT for folks with Odema (whatever the cause) and lower limb circulation issues.Do not buy if you are diabetic or have other conditions which cause Odema in ankles and feet.I made this mistake.As I also have foot/heel pain too.Product is fine, just not for those with lower leg/foot swelling issues.Regardless of foot size.

I am a runner and have suffered from plantar fasciitis for 18 months, tried various therapies (shock wave, steroid...), stretching, icing, rollering, orthotics, no running (!!) and done all that was possible to improve matters. The PF has been getting better gradually, and got to the stage where it was more of a discomfort than pain, and that's when I decided to try these. They are tight-ish, feel the same as strapping, and you wear the sock on the affected foot with your running sock over the top. I wear one, run in it then wash it in cold water and leave it to dry and as there are two in the pack I then use the other one the next time. As there are no toes, these are great to wear if you are in sandals or flip flops too as I wear them when I'm not running too. The result for me has been amazing - pain free running, and now even more than that, totally discomfort free as well enabling me to get back to training and enjoying it. The PF hasn't yet gone completely (sometimes reminds me its there during the day, but never when I'm running) but it has improved no end and I've got my life back! Should mention that I take out the sock liners in my running shoes (both shoes) and have replaced with Orthaheel orthotics, the full length sports ones with arch support. Combination of arch support, gel heel cup and then these socks has worked wonders.

Absolutely miraculous, frankly.My husband suffers badly with pain in his heels and his left arch - these socks have made so much difference to him in only three days. The real test will be when he returns to work as a meter reader after this holiday and is on his feet all day, but so far he is amazed.Also - the company are incredibly helpful, and very pro-active. The socks come with a little leaflet of illustrated stretches to try and help alleviate the pains associated with plantar fasciitis.
