Before purchasing we used to use a bread knife but this is so much easier and the metal is bendable to make it easier to spread icing. The selection of sizes is nice as well to suit different cake sizes.

Great product, great value for money, good grip and just the job for smoothing toppings onto cakes, only downside is they don't make me a better baker, still haven't found a tool for that!!

Good quality. For years I struggled with an ordinary palette knife and these knives made the job of decorating a large cake with royal icing so much easier. I am not a professional cake decorator so any help to make the job easier at a busy time of Christmas and daughter's wedding was much appreciated! I recommend these.

I used it for the first time yesterday when royal icing my Christmas Cake and found them super.

Well, I got these offset palette knives for a reason. Mostly to spread chocolate and unfortunately their angle is kinda sharp which makes even spreading quite impossible cause they always scrape some part or the chocolate. I end up using my old smaller palette with a smoother angle and I do my job. Hence the three stars.For any other job, I guess they are good, cause material-wise the definitely are good.
