enviiPond Klear Xtra – Strong Pond Clear Water Treatment, Naturally Clears Green Pond Water – Treats Up To 100,000 litres

I inherited a pond when I moved house that hadn't been maintained in 15 years! Boy, what a mess! 2 feet of sludge and and 20,000 litres of thick water. I was loathed to put my koi into this muck but had no choice. So the battle began in April of this year when I bought the first lot of Pond Klear Extra which failed miserably. I had some excellent help from Andy Hiron at Bio8 who responded to my emails almost instantly each time. Thank you, Andy. I had introduced some plants to the pond which in turn introduced an abundance of parasites and lost 50% of my stock, including my prized koi. Note to self....thoroughly wash all oxygenating plant "before" adding to the pond! Pond treated, happy healthy fish, water tested and stable, now onto water clarity.Last weekDay 1 - Cleaned filters and removed UV bulbs. Carried out a 30% water change. Added Envii Sludge KlearDay 2 - added Envii Pond KlearDay 4 - water born algae build up but the water itself appeared clearer?. Cleaned filters and replaced UV BulbDay 5 - the water is definitely clearer!Day 6 - are my eyes deceiving me! Are they fish I can see????Day 7 - WOW! I can see at least 3 feet down and all of my fish, including some Rudd which I didn't even know I had!If the ponds stays at the current level of clarity I will be extremely happy. But I have a feeling that I will be able to see the bottom which is 5 feet in some places over the next few days. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Hopefully you can see the difference in the attached photos. One before Pond Klear and two taken today, day 7. I've tried so many products in the past but won't be now. This is my recipe for success!!Update July 21. Pond crystal clear! Envii sludge klear is also amazing. I can see patches if white gravel that I didn't know was there!

I have used two complete doses of this product and on the whole it worked well and definitely cleared the water quickly. . I do have an extreme problem with blanket weed in this pond and I was hoping it would banish this too but it is still coming back. I will try another dose or if you can recommend something else I will try that too! Your service is excellent and the product has clear instructions and very easy to use.Many thanksCarolyn

Pond was suddenly hit by blanket weed this spring and I tried all sorts to sort it out. I had some good results and the water clarity improved but still had sludge on the bottom of the ond and over submerged rocks. So I resorted to Pond Klear Xtra as it got good reviews and promised what I needed. Remaining blanket weed died very quickly to go with me skimming it. The dead stuff caused problems but Pond Klear Xtra suddenly started to work (OK the bacteria need to grow and breed) and now half the sludge has been removed. Am continuing to dose the pond and clean the filters every couple of days and things continue to improve. It has taken a couple of months but has save me draining or using a pond vac to try to clear it all. Frogs are thriving so no ill effects there and birds are still bathing and drinking every day. Looking forward to a few more weeks of the little bugs chomping their way through the remaining sludge so I can enjoy the crystal clear water and clean environment of the pond.My advice is to 'stick with it' and not expect an instant result. It is not a cheap product but it does do 'what it says on the tin'. Manufacturers emphasise it is not a quick fix so please don't expect that - I doubt there is a "quick fix" for this problem!

Did what I was told to do. Pond is a lot better but . But not great, I will buy again and see what happens.

It works but be patient,I added this treatment to my 6500 lt fish pond and didn't really see much of an improvement at first, so after 3 days i added the recommended dose again and have now seen a marked improvement,I went from pea green water with suspended particles and only seeing my fish when they fed at the surface to ( after a week from first treatment ) being able to just see the bottom of my 4 foot deep pond and I expect the clarity will continue to improve by the day.Because this product is a concentrated formula ( Pond Klear XTRA ) it works out at great value and i will continue to treat my pond throughout the summer months.follow the advice on the label and regularly clean your filter sponges.

Didn't work for me, and I followed all instructions on the bottle to the letter. After I used up the entire bottle, I received an email from the company selling this product instructing me as to the steps to take to make sure this product works on my pond and before any negative feedback is left.Here is the first step in their email:Before using any bacterial pond product, check your water parameters – the pH level should be below 8.5 and a KH level above 5 – If they are outside of this range, buy Envii Pond Equaliser to immediately buffer water and eliminate toxic heavy metals & ammonia to improve the health of your fish.In essence, they are suggesting that, in order to make this product work, I need to buy another one of their products, which I am obviously not going to do now. When they are selling this product, the description doesn't tell prospective customers that they shouldn't buy it unless their water pH level is below 8.5 and KH level is above 5 because it's not going to be effective. So you have been warned: if your water falls outside of the above range, the suggestion is to buy Pond Equaliser from this company first because otherwise Pond Klear Xtra is not going to be effective.I am not going to do that. I've wasted enough money on two of their products already: I tried Pond Klear and now Pond Klear Xtra. Both are equally useless. Called a local pond specialist. He recommended a good quality bacterial product that costs more than this one but cleared our pond quickly and without any additional purchases.

Really impressed after two treatments see how long it lasts .
